Getting matched with reported players

Hello, I have been playing a few 3v3 and I am in the hell that is called silver league. It happened a lot of time that players get mad for very insignificant reason and stop helping and communicating, start flaming or even sometime simply go afk. When that happens I am sure to issue a report for the said person a the end of the match. My issue is, more often than not I get matched with that same person at my next game and I really have no idea why. I mean if I reported that guy I don't want anything to do with that individual again. Now because of this I AM penalized because I have to dodge because said person usually think everyone else is the problem but him.

I stopped playing this game because the community is so toxic and cancerous and that kind of event happening all day tells me it hasn't changed a bit. If you would take reports with a bit more seriousness maybe people would think again before doing such stupidities.

Reporting/blocking players doesn't affect matchmaking because, simply put, it could and would be abused. If the player is flaming you can mute them, if they are throwing the match they can be banned for that. Pings are usually more than enough for communicating with your teammates, so you don't have to listen to toxic players more than you want to.

Blocking players mutes them everywhere for you, but currently the Beta Client doesn't have the ability to block players without first adding them as a friend.

Yes but the issue isn't that we aren't able to communicate properly, is because he just throws the game. Why am I the one penalized for toxic behavior?

This doesn't address my issue and is why I will most likely quit this game again. I don't want to play and be angry all the time I want to play and have fun and those kind of person doesn't give me any fun. I don't mind losing and it's ok sometime the other team is just better.

a simple solution would be to find a team to play with random games pair you with people that don't always align to your standards best of luck

The reason riot hates toxic players is because they chase the trolls away. If riot bans trolls at the same time, than at least 50% of the current players will just be gone. (I am merely a gold 2 player and I am already top 10% i cant even believe it...) That is, who is going to pay for riots income, if you chase the trolls away with your toxic speech and riot bans them at the same time? Riot is NOT stupid!

Please explain how this would be abused without affecting the person doing the "abusing" as you put it? Seems to me that the more people report others to not be grouped with them, somewhere down the road they will not have anyone to be matched with anymore. Just curious as to how this would be abused.

I thought you could right click and block them in post game?
