I was banned around 2-3 months ago and i have played somewhere between 150-200 games in that time without any punishments but im still honor level 0. Does anyone know if its actually possible to level up my honor level or is it just locked there until the new season or something? P.S. i didn't really care about this before but now i can't play the new competetive game mode with my friends and they can't either without a 5th since they don't really just want a random, so it's kind of annoying now.

holy fuck, i've heard it's super hard to go up in honor after getting punished, but 150-200 games is way too much. This fucking system is retarded, not only is it very sensible in how it punishes players, it also keeps them on the edge of getting perma'd for a fuckton of games...

if that dude hasn't been banned in 150-200 games the system should consider him to be reformed. He hasn't gone up a single honor level, how the fuck is that reasonable? You don't even need to be exceptionally toxic to get punished, just being negative is enough to get punished. By negative i mean calling others bad, asking for ff and other sort of things that would just warrant a chat restriction if you did it several games in a row in the old system. This new system is retardedly sensible.

Even if he did drop a punishment tier (and is no longer on the edge of being permabanned), we won't know, as the behavioral system's tier is currently not tied into the honor system. But what we do know that it'll take much more than 200 games in order to get someone from the 3rd tier of punishment to a clean slate.

That said, it will be nice to have more clarity on the system.

one valid report is enough to get someone punished especially if they've been punished before, and even if he goes up one honor level he will still be on the edge of getting perma banned. Seriously dude, if you don't know what you're talking about just shut up.

Also, why the fuck is 200+ games to go up one honor level reasonable?

This is only true when they just got off a 14-day ban, if they've been playing games and showing reform, they can be validly reported and not get punished because they system does have a forgiving factor. Unless they go using zero tolerance speech, which is entirely a different matter.

It could be possible that they are still on 14-day ban tier after moving to Honor1, as far as we know right now, moving to Honour1 doesn't mean they dropped a punishment tier. But we can always ask Tantram for clarity.

Honor system is not supposed to be a grind to level up. It's supposed to be a natural progression while showing consistent sportsmanlike behavior. If one showing an overall neutral behavior, then it would take them much longer to progress through the system.

We don't know people's behavioral history, but I very skeptical that people whom earned a 14-day ban will easily suddenly become sportsmanlike. However, I will buy that they will exhibit neutral behavior or minor negativity by not typing. So I think it is fair that those people will have to spend alot of games in order to prove that they can control themselves and not be consistently toxic.

The system needs to see you have improved. We don't know the actual number but usually it takes between 2-3 months. I'm going to assume if you are telling the truth you will more than likely unlock it soon assuming you haven't been reported in your games!

yeah sure havn't been reported in ur games, and what about the false reports? that actually every game 2~5 players says report. i have changed my way in chat or even sometimes i dont talk if i feel i will get dis talk, but however even when im good person im still gettin thousands of insults and harassment but where is riot to defend me now? where is my reports action, where is the reply of my reports?

Honor might be on hold for preseason. And also I've heard that honor resets at the beginning of the season! This means that by season 8 you should be in the clear. I know that the option to test the feature is in EUW but By season 8 you should be fine.

if you want to progress on your honors, make sure you:

Honor someone every time - if everyone honors, you'll get a bonus towards your progress
Don't be toxic, if you are getting validly reported, it will slow down your progress (this includes mild toxicity like calling someone bad or idiots and all)
Play lots of games - game modes that last less than 10 mins are pretty good for this, like Twisted Tree line, Beginner bots or the past overcharge / dark star events
