Hello, I am really upset from the removing of the ban list. Witch means that all the toxic and uncooperative players I had in ban list I could meet again , in my team. There is a solid reason for the ban list and I REALLY WANT IT BACK! Diving into the new launcher this is what made really bad impression , I coudn't ban players witch i wish no longer to have as teamm8's.
What Endless said, but also, the block list is still there. You can right click and block someone from your friends list, or block them in-game with /ignore (muting in the alpha client currently adds them to the block list, but they said that was a bit heavy handed and may pull that off). Your block list can be found by clicking the gear icon on the top right of the alpha client.
It doesn't look like they've yet added a way to block someone without being in a game with them or having them on your friends list, though.
The Block List never stopped you from getting matched with players.
AFAIK, it just stopped them from friending you and automatically muted them in-game (though not pre-game or post-game lobby).
