I'm sorry.

I just wanted to apologize to the League of Legends community for my toxicity and negativity in and out of games. I was recently perma-banned on my account, and initially I was upset but after looking through my chat logs and realizing what I've done I just wanted to apologize for said actions. I'm usually not 'that guy' on any game, most of my actions just came from being counter-toxic and acting the same way people acted towards me. That wasn't right, and I owned up to what I've done. I took a few days to really think about it and I'm ready to get back into League.

I'm ready to start being the person I was before hand and be a good role model for those I play with and I encourage people to clean up their act if they acted like I did. It sucks to get banned, but it's even worse when it's preventable, and you should really sit down and think about what you say and do. It is just a game, but it can get the best of you and you will get punished for it.

I lost my way, and I got punished for that, I accept it, and I hope you guys can forgive me. I'd be honored to be accepted back into the league community.

(excuse my horrible writing quality and the fact that every sentence starts with I or I'm, lol)

EDIT: I would like to thank everyone for reading and commenting, it has definitely made me feel so much more welcome and accepted by the community, more than I ever have been. To the people who say I'm just begging for my account back, I already knew that would never happen. I was toxic, but I don't lack common sense. League isn't the only game I've played (but surprisingly it is the only game where I've ever gotten punished with reason for negativity.) and I've always known that once a punishment is final, it's final.

On a totally separate note, I bought 3 mystery skins to start my collection up again, and proceeded to get all 3 of Jayce's skins (my main champion). I bought another 3, and then got Shamrock Malphite, AETHER WING FRIGGIN KAYLE, and Cosmic Reaver Kassadin. I wish everyone the same luck with skins and League alike. I'd like to assume it's the universe telling me I made the right step, but I still have a ways to go to become the person I want to be on League.

Thanks everyone for reading, and have a great holiday.

It is nice to see this. It is a shame you didn't realize this after the many warnings and temporary bans.

See leveling your new account as a chance to give back to the community. Be patient with new players, help them out, show them how your new self behaves.

I'm glad you see that, and good luck on reforming.

Just remember: By making this thread, you're better than %98 of everyone else who was perma-banned. You're doing good

I appreciate threads like this. Good job admitting your fault, unlike than all those threads that plead innocent and beg for their ban to be undone.

Second this, with the additional caveat that you'll likely be playing with smurfs. Many of the smurfs are people who, like you, got banned, but unlike you, haven't realized that their behavior is out of line. So, make good use of that mute button -- don't let them drag you back down to their level.

Also, props to you for recognizing the error in your ways. That's a damn hard thing to do.

Best of luck in your quest for positivity.

This is impressive, but the key is that you truly do change, rather than just saying you will.

If you have, then welcome back!

Perma banning toxic players is wrong their the only people keeping his game from being overrun by a bunch of babies who get offended by everything.

3rd time I got suspended (this was before the 3 strike rule) was during URF 2014, I missed the entirety of it. And I wasn't around for URF's first iteration either. That hit home, mostly I would just go off on trolls/afk's but looking back, it's all petty, raging at someone you don't know on the internet in a computer game, absolutely nothing gets accomplished. It isn't worth the wear & tear on your keyboard, let alone risking loss of an account you have spent countless hours grinding. I just stay silent most of my games now.

I, for one, would welcome you back with open arms as long as you are sincere about trying to rethink how you communicate. If someone is grinding your gears too much, it would probably be better to mute them than to tempt yourself again. As you relevel your account, please teach new players to buy pink wards. :) Spread the knowledge of superior vision, friend.[slayer-jinx-wink]

If only more people were as mature as you. Good work buddy.

I'm glad you got your wake up call, even it was a permanent ban. For me it was almost losing real life friends over getting mad at video games. After a particularly bad match where I gave my best friend of now 17 years shit over not calling a MIA I realized something had to stop. What really helped me was only playing when I had somebody else on Skype with permission to just pull the plug on me if I slipped into old behavior. I hope you don't have to go to such extreme lengths, but even so I share this tool with you in case you find it tempting to backslide while trying to change.

Change is hard and scary, especially when I was taught to be angry by my father's behavior. I know my actions and situation isn't unique just like yours isn't either. Those of us that learned to calm ourselves down are here if you need a hand, man.

If you want to avoid being counter-toxic, spam that mute button. Sometimes even use /mute all. Trust me, it protects your sanity and won't get you banned [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Wtf man. Wtf is wrong with you? You let these punks here wish for you to change and condescend? You get banned, and you go soft? The banning and "reforming" system for League is ridiculous. People are too soft, and the company wants everyone to be bitches. You can even see it in the "champion spotlight videos". At first, Phreak's puns and other fun was unintentional. Now it's specifically stupid as hell, and targeted at kids.

Using the word "reforming" for something like this is hilarious too. They take themselves so seriously. it's the same with using "toxic". Fuck you man. Be true to yourself, and if you return, do not be the bitch they want you to be. You could be the nicest guy in MMORPGs, but if you're a dick on league it is truly who you are when it comes to league. No need to change that. I'm 1-step away from being perma-banned from the forums for my love of women, good music, and more women. Even so, one of these days I shall cut back on my losses, and post the women I love. I will not be kept down by the system. Fuck them man. Fuck them.
