When is it ok to give up?

I just played yorick top, with a nunu supp on the team. the nunu raged on our adc alot and then went 0/3. after that nunu went top and just stood afk in bursh for 3min solid. after that she just did a mix of inting and taxing only in the toplane. now i got suspended for the first timew cause i flamed the nunu. Also i dont have any other bans in all the time ive played this game, and ive not flamed, in the past games. So its never ok too give up? even with that kind of a teammate?

You signed up to play a full match of League of Legends, from the moment you spawn in to the moment a Nexus explodes. The following are the only four reasons you should be allowed to leave a match of League of Legends:

Your Nexus explodes.
Your enemies' Nexus explodes.
Your team Surrenders.
Your enemy Surrenders.

If none of those things happen, you are obligated to keep playing to the best of your ability.

And, as Venompaw said, flaming isn't acceptable, regardless of circumstance. Doesn't matter if there's an intentional feeder, an AFK, a troll, or what have you. Just because others break the rules doesn't give you the freedom to do so yourself.

Give up, don't flame. Flaming isn't acceptable ever especially if adhominem attacks.
