I want to change my name to fat retard but im not sure what will happen. Will i get perma banned or what happens if my name is considered profanity? Do i have to send a support ticket to get it changed if i do get banned for it? I dont have anything against people with disabilites or anything but my mates and i think its a pretty funny name. Ty
I'm not sure what their current policy is on it, but in the past I know it's been that they send you something asking you to change your summoner name and give you a free name change, similar to how, after a long period of inactivity (and I mean long, like a year long), someone can take the inactive user's summoner name and they will be prompted to, on next login, make a new one.

At the very least you would be forced to change it again.
In general I would avoid changing your name to anything that includes a word the community has deemed unacceptable in chat logs.
