If you had a previous 14-day ban (or possibly even just a 25-game chat restriction -- I suspect the system doesn't like the word "ape") this would get you banned, yes.

Coming off a 14-day ban this would absolutely result in a permanent ban 100% of the time. I can't speak for the behavior of wow qt (nor do I know who that is), but if he/she types that behavior in-game frequently and gets reported for it, he/she would end up being punished as well. That sort of behavior is strictly not allowed.

Regardless, his behavior and whether it is or isn't punished (...does he really type that in-game?) doesn't excuse yours.

You did a lot more than "throw a snarky comment." You insulted player's performance, called them apes, called them trash, and continued this behavior for three (or more) games. "Nice ult" when an Ezreal misses you by a mile is snarky -- "trash play, ape" isn't. Your comments are all closer to the latter than the former.

There's more to League than just trying hard to carry, and part of that is being a good teammate. If you can't do that, you should find another game.

so since there are no time stamps you have no idea how these comments are spaced. Harsh assumptions on your part, and i believe as long as your doing your part with cc, engaging when u can and do the right "Teammate" decision are more important not the vocal part u can say what u want i feel and long as your doing your part. being a trolling or afking teammate is far worse but far less punished. Sad.

Ultimately it's not a matter of what you or I believe though -- it's a matter of how the IFS works, and the behavior required if you wish to keep playing League. It also doesn't matter how they were spaced -- the behavior is present in all your games, so whether it is spaced out over them or isolated to specific incidents, it is still behavior you have been engaging in repeatedly.

I understand that you believe that, but the IFS learns from community behavior, and if it punishes for this it is a good indication that this is behavior the community does not want. You may wish to call people trash and apes, and, if that's the case, I'd encourage you to find another game where that behavior is allowed.

I've seen a lot of "this change needs to be made before Riot goes under" and, frankly, it almost always comes from the portion of the community that is subject to behavioral restrictions for their language. 9 years later Riot is still around and still one of the biggest games on the planet, so I'll have to take that prognostication with a grain of salt.

Technically, you can get banned for literally no reason. Riot obviously tries to aovid doing that, since it would smear their reputation. You do seem quite toxic in some of those games, which can result in a ban. As far as I can tell Riot isn't very consistent, though.

Yes, you did deserve this ban. Understand that this chat-logs isn't what got you the actual permaban itself, but you showed you moved on to your 4th penalty. Under no circumstances do you ever insult your team or enemies. In general. Nor do you ask for reports because it's considered as a harassment. Calling players "ape" and "trash" is extremely inappropriate.

Due to your overall toxicity, and using up all your penalties due to your toxicity, yes, you did earn that permaban.

The system doesn't ban you just for one game unless you did something against the zero-tolerance policy. Not how it works. The IFS system bans players based on their overall attitude from each game from reports. Get enough of them, you'll get a penalty. This chat-logs shows you the last game you got reported in. Showing you how you earned your last penalty.

Your overall history shows you've been reported a lot due to your consistent negative and toxic attitude.

4 games over 5 1/2ish seasons isn't alot. I'd hardly call that consistent and no a single game calling someone an ape isn't pert of the zero- tolerance policy.

Didn't say it was. I said UNLESS YOU DID SOMETHING AGAINST THE ZERO-TOLERANCE policy. But it doesn't make it any less offensive. What you believe may not be a lot doesn't mean it isn't. The ban shows that it is and shows us that too. Calling a player ape is an insult, and insulting players is considered flaming, and flaming is against the Terms of Use. Therefore, due to disregarding the Terms of Use consistently, you got punished. All four times.
