Queue of 3 players manipulating the enemy team to report me

I was playing league today and a queue of 3 trollers manipulated a couple of people to report me for no reason... I called them out but they didn't seem to listen because they still were asking if they should report me, and the last person I had in my team was getting trolled too so he ran down mid last second. If I get reported will I actually get punished? The only thing I said was calling him stupid and trying to stick up for myself. Thanks.

Resorting to insults is never the way to go. If you insulted them, then yes, there is a potential for you to receive a punishment, though I feel like you're leaving a big chunk of what was said out. In the future, I recommend you don't say anything to people like that, instead opting to mute and report them after the game. All you have to do is worry about you, and you'll be fine, regardless of what anyone else does, and regardless of how many people report you. You could get reported by 9 people, but as long as you weren't toxic and there's no signs of intentional trolling, you'd be absolutely fine.

You're certainly welcome. I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'd rather not you get banned because you were unfortunate enough to get a couple of unsavory characters in your game. Do your best to stay calm, and always remember, mute and report. :)

I tested out the tips in some games this morning and I feel way more happy playing this game. Sometimes I need to mute pings too but it's what you need to do to some players. And it looks like i haven't been punished as of now so I'll keep up with playing. Thank you!

if you did not do anything wrong you will not get punished, if a person gets reported in a game more then 1 time it does not do anything, the code of reports is this if reports > 0 then flag game; so if reports are greater than 0, then flag this game for review, so as long as you did not retaliate against them with things that are against the rules then you will not get punished

Yeah I know fighting back is never right, but I was jus too enraged I couldn't control it. I didn't say anything terrible anyways. The worst I called them was stuipid xD
