These Lower-Priority Queues Are Insane

I admit, I have left matches before when I shouldn't have and I've been rightfully punished for it, but now this is just insane. Because of my previously left games for which I had already finished my lower-priority queues for, I got punished again for the most retarded reason. I was playing Xin-Zhao XinZhao duo with a friend of mine and League froze completely. I could not do anything, my entire computer was frozen, so I decided to turn off my computer and turn it back on to get into the match again. After being gone for 6 minutes, I got back into the match and played for 10-20 minutes until my team won the game. Guess what I got? A 5-match 20 minute Lower-Priority Queue, just because LoL completely froze my computer to the point where I had to restart it by forcefully shutting it down and I had to wait 6 minutes before I could rejoin the match. Can I just say how retarded this system is? An automatic computer system should not be able to screw me over because I had to leave for 6 minutes. I rejoined and helped my team win, only to be greeted by complete ridiculousness. Now I'm stuck, not being able to play with my friend because I'm not going to make him endure waiting 20 minutes because of a retarded punishment.

A user is responsible for the machine they play league on Riot is not to blame if your machine isn't up to snuff to run league

punishment goes 5,10,20 min down timers as you admitted already, you've left games for various reasons in the past so you already abused the 1 free leave and are now punished Does it suck yes, but think of all those leaves you got away with :D

Simply finishing a LPQ does not take you off the list you need to show consistency over time to get the punishment down(i think)

The system has leniency built-in for one-offs like this where something outside of your control causes you to leave the game. Unfortunately for you, you ate up that leniency by making enough of a habit of leaving games to have gotten that first LeaverBuster penalty. And apparently that was recently enough that you've not yet gotten back in good standing with that system.

In the end, had you not left those other games, you'd still have forgiveness available to you for this one time the game crashed, and you wouldn't have gotten a penalty at all.
