Hard stuck Honor level 3 !!

Hey everyone,

When the new honor system came up, I got from level 2 to level 3 maybe faster than any of my friends, in one week or not even ! And since then I didnt move from there at all ! I found it really bizarre !

Stayin in level 3 for like 2 months or a bit more even though I got hundreds of honors from premade and non-premade players, even though I got "the most honorable player" a lot and a lot of times and even though I play a lot and I win a lot, all that made me really want to wonder and ask about it.

I've seen players from all levels and elos jump to level 5 so fast without even playing a lot and by getting much fewer honors than me !

At first I said ; is it because of a ban I had like a year ago for inting in a normal game ? but I don't think it makes sense since that was relatively long time ago and since then I never inted and I'm not toxic in chat, I barely use it (only for infos, calls or for the /all ggwp).

I dont know if anyone else got the same issue and if I can get an explanation for this.

So I had the same issue and asked Riot support to help and they looked over a couple past games for incidences where I was less than honorable (ie. preventing me from moving up in honor level.) and it was basically for saying:

Make me!

to someone saying

GL HF!

Not entirely sure how that was negative but alrighty then!

You really think that can cause this ? And I actually do decent cs for my elo (Silver 5), average of 5.5 to 7.5 cs/min and I roam from time to time !

OP, you get negative honor for successful reports, even if they don't lead to harsher punishments like chat restrictions or worse.

If you are stuck in honor 3 it's because you are being toxic enough to keep moving the needle backwards

I don't remember being toxic to be honest .. But probably at my elo some guys threw the random report after losing a game and caused me this ..

reporting doesn't do anything more than trigger a review. If you aren't toxic, there's nothing to worry about

it might be from reports since i have the same problem i kinda flame lol but havent ever got a ban for it probably because i dont say things like kys or anything related or because i also carry a lot of games since im a adc main and get quite a few most honorables and it balances things out

To be honest, I blame sometimes but softly and without insulting or being offensive, I say for example "dude you lost your mind?" or I ironically say "gj !" .. Anyway I'm gonna try avoiding chat at all I think it's better ..

ya passive aggressive stuff is probably why for you lol, just dont say anything unless its nice and if you can already tell you might do it to someone just ask them to mute you so you wont be tempted

I have the exact same issue. I always act positive, ever since honor came out i had maybe 2,3 games where i acted SLIGHTLY toxic ("fuck this game", "I want to die",...) In all other games i act very positive and barely give up, as well as wishing everyone a good day at every lobby+game, yet my friends who constantly shout diseases and death upon the enemy team are all honor 5. Great reward system, league

Yea I'm really still confused if we are doing something wrong or instead something is wrong with the system !

Sometimes i feel like people might be taking me sarcastically or something, and that they report me because of that
