the league of legends ban policy needs to be changed because they really dont give enough bans before the last ban ( permanent ban) the last ban i got was a ( chat ban ) for 10 games and it was like 2 months ago and now i got a permanent ban like this is unfair you should give me a harder ban like a month or 2 months ban before the permanent ban, you cant give me 10 games chat ban which is a silly ban before the permanent , please hear me out and try to do what i said we need a bigger ban before the final ban so people can reform i mean i never ( afk - int - trol ) talking bad in the chat doesnt deserve a permanent ban only ( cheating - going afk for lots of games - int all the time ) deserves a permanent ban the ones who only type in chat bad words deserve a second reform chance and if they dont get reformed you can just ban them again .

If you went from a chat ban to a permanent ban and your log didn't contain any zero-tolerance behavior (hate speech or encouragements to self-harm), you should send a ticket in to Player Support, because that's unusual. Usually the punishments follow the set order shown below:

  • 10-game restriction.
  • 25-game restriction.
  • 14-day ban.
  • Permanent ban.

Riot have found out that the toxicity severity and rate doesn't change amongst people whom get an extra punishment tier between 14-day ban and permaban.

Meaning that extra punishment tier doesn't do anything in regards to stopping people from being toxic and is just prolonging the inevitable permaban.

I'd argue having a warning before a player gets their first punishment will be more effective at encouraging reform.

if 2-3 warnings aren't enough for you to reform then the 4th won't make any difference

Actually, riot can give you a perma ban without any warning.

Or you could stop flaming your allies, also an option.
