Chat ban-14 day suspension- perma band. Looking for answers

Had a 14 day ban about 2 months ago. Been on good behavior since then. It is to my understanding the next ban is typically a perma ban. However lets say a player does not get any reports for 6 months then has one bad day and flames, does that player get perma banned? Do these suspensions eventually expire after good behavior resetting the account to a good behavior account "honorable" or are they locked onto that account forever. Does anyone have a link that explains ban status and related issues.

While the record of the suspensions will always be in your history, it is possible to regain some "trust" for lack of a better way to say it. Generally speaking 3-6 months of active play without valid reports against you should drop you down one "tier" - i.e. would result in not being escalated to the next punishment.
