Still Dishonorable? 200+ games later

Hello all,

3+ year old account, with 1 mute/ban (14-day) that occurred back in August 2017. I used homophobic slurs a handful of times in a match and was generally tilted towards one player. I'm not defending myself for that game, it was wrong. Other than that one instance, I've never received a warning or suspension. Since returning, I have over 200 games under my belt with several honors. Prior to that 14-day ban, I was enjoying the benefits of having an actual honor level.

My question is two fold. First, how long should I expect the punishment to continue? Or...if I'm stuck in the doldrums for that fateful day, isn't it a bit overboard when you look at my account history over the last several years and zero incidents? It was already a hard pill to swallow knowing I dropped the F word a few times and skipped the tier 1 ban and went straight to tier 2. How long does this last? Is it a possibility my account is bugged?

Thanks, d

You account isn't bugged usually it takes approximately 6 months to a year to get your account in good standing and an estimated 1000 games this is of course by no means an exact number, the only people that can tell you that are riots help staff.

You can and will get out of your dishonored stated eventually but it takes time and effort, you have to show you've truly reformed not just playing nice to get your account in good standing again.

Good luck to you!

It's a combination of time AND games played, and we don't know how much of either it takes before the punishment level is dropped. Also, if you are still getting accurately reported in your 200 games since you've returned, this could also lead to taking longer until your honor is restored.

I am with you on this one unless you god tier someone will cry to mom for saying please care. in bad games.

I mean I guess you can change your personality and tell everyone they are beautiful or handsome and there the best at this game. ^ but even that you might get reported for homo/lying...

welcome to life without parole my friend meetups in block c for gang recruitment. XD jk

I think it's the amount of games you play through (nexus down type not surrenders), as well, the honours...you want the TEAMWORK ones. Tiltproof honours seem kind of empty to me though I imagine that also counts towards your status, as well, the GG honours should count.

I'd guess about 100-250 honours should bump you out of the hole...so keep being sportsmanlike, supportive (play support?) and just get a shit ton of assists in every game.

And maybe buy a ward when you're ADC.

But honest...I think it's getting the teamwork honours that does it.

It does indeed take alot of games to get out of honor0. You need to prove to the system that you have fully reformed.

During this time, if you get validly reported, it will slow down your progress towards the next honor level.
