Hey Rito, My internet provider has been really inconsistent for the past few months -cough-centurylink-cough-. I'm going to be switching soon because my internet is DCing maybe 4 to 5 times a day from anywhere between 20 minutes to 10 hours. Sadly, this has happened to me a few times in game so now I have a LeaverBuster. Not anything terrible, just 5 game low priority queue currently.
Is there anyway to contest a punishment? Or perhaps explain my situation? 
SmokedAlmonds3 votesThis is working as intended. You need to stop queuing until you fix your connection. Hoping that you don't DC again is not a solution.
Vox Verbatim1 votesSwitching isn't that easy. I have a lot of things hooked up to my internet provider. TV, telephone, and a majority of my major accounts are linked to the email the provider gave me. Switching providers would be a large decision that could cost me a lot, and would be a pain. At the same time, I don't want to stop playing League for months.
Erdrik1 votesMost providers offer a upgraded or so called "high speed" internet options. You could look into that or ask their customer support to come out and see if there is a problem.
Or you can always get an email account not associated with your provider, and move everything over to that email. Then you can switch without worrying about it.

It is selfish and disrespectful to queue knowing you have a problem like that. You are betting with other people's time and enjoyment that your shitty connection won't fail again.

Vox Verbatim1 votesIt wasn't very bad at first in the beginning. My internet would disconnect maybe one a month. Over time it would slowly be more frequent. I had some people come over, check things out, replace somethings. And then it would be okay again for a short time. Just this month, it's gotten significantly worse, and I have no control over this until I can switch. But as I stated in the other comment, it would be larger decision than I'd like to have to make.

Its an understandable one, but its not Riots responsibility to handle your connection.
Çhåryzård1 votesBack when Bilgewater was happening, the new HUD caused a glitch where LOTS of people were dc'ing from almost every game they played.
My account was squeaky clean before that. I never left a lot of games, I was polite, no reports, etc. Never any punishments.
The constant dc'ing put me in Leaverbuster and it hasn't left me ever since.
I sent them an email saying "hey, my game has been glitching, I've never been punished and now I'm in leaverbuster. Is it possible to take back the punishment? I've only been leaving from games because of the HUD glitch"
They said they couldnt help me. So since then I have been on its watch. Just got put back into a lower tier because I left 2 games (due to emergency reasons, I'd never leave a game unless its an emergency or a dc and if I dc I always come back). Oh and I'm pretty sure its the reason why I can't be on the PBE too. I can't know the exact reason but I have a feeling leaverbuster is it.
