Players like this need to be penalized, or the game will just create more and more toxic players in response.
Actually most people like me become toxic over time due to being stuck with people who do stupid stuff repeatedly all game long. Like getting supports who refuse to get support items or sightstones to help with vision. You don't want to play the role, then dodge. Or jungles who build part of a jungle item then never finish it then bitch because you screwed when they fail ganked with no dmg.
Being toxic doesn't happen for most people because of 1 person having a bad game, it is usually coming from dealing with a long string of random people having a bad game and screwing your earnest effort at advancing over. Sometimes it has nothing to do with the game at all.

Well, you see, if you are good enough to carry the game, you should absolutely not do that, because retards such as this Olaf will get free elo, wich is Elo Boosting, and that in it self is illegal :D So logic is that, if you are better than any of your team mate, you cannot carry, because it is considered elo boosting ^^ Get that straight mate
Meh I had a shit game last night... like worst ever. I went 0/6/0 top lane. Not even an assist throughout the whole game. Jax kept ganking me and it was like 5am so I definitely should have ended the night with an unranked or just went to bed because my tunnel vision was so fucking bad. I just never saw the fucker coming even with wards up. I sucked. It was my fault. Our jg ww insisted that I was intentionally feeding and just talked shit right after first blood.
He hated me immediately and instead of helping me get back in the game, he just decided to never come top and stop the snowballing nasus that got away from me cuz of Jax ganks and my lack of awareness. Even though he didn't come top once, I take full responsibility for all my deaths. Can't blame the jungle just cuz you can't stay back and avoid a gank.
This is a rare thing for me. I don't go 0/6/0 regularly. Maybe one in 200 games I'll have a terrible match like that. It just happens sometimes. So he reported me for intentional feeding, even though I told him his report weight is just gonna go down and his reports will never do anything if he just reports people for things they aren't doing. But he was convinced that it was intentional because he pinged missing (nowhere near me, I think he was pinging in their jungle, so I didn't really react to it like I shouldve) and I didn't get back. I told him man I know it's my fault but try n ping on top of me if you're gonna lay into me when I fuck up. It didn't matter what I said though, even apologizing... he convinced himself that it was intentional and talked shit the whole game. Our mid also fed LeBlanc and she was 10/0 by 20 minutes.
So I guess my only point is, is it really my fault that he was toxic? No one else said shit other than ashe who just said we lost cuz of mid and top. That's fine, that's factual, I got no problem with that. Shouldn't it be that I made everyone toxic in that match? Why did the other players not get toxic? I played bad, so technically I should've made them toxic too, right? I think some people just have a very different mindset and personality. It's not the fault of some shit player like me, it's their brains being wired differently and them having different values and life experience, resulting in different reactions to different situations.
No one can make you toxic. You just have a toxic personality. You don't see it as a bad thing to call someone a fucking retarded idiot, useless moron, or whatever else. It's just a different perspective on what's right and wrong. Much like I took responsibility for feeding their top/jg... you gotta take responsibility for reacting in a toxic way. There may not be anything wrong with reacting in a toxic way either, but it is Riots rule. You don't have to agree with their rules, but you do have to follow them if you wanna avoid punishments.
Opinions don't matter. This ain't america, where you have free speech. It's not a functioning society with an economy and a constitution to protect your rights as a citizen. It's a video game with rules. Follow the rules, or stop playing.
