Misconception of "Toxic"

I thought ill bring this to the table because of my last experience of players this week. Since i get this on average one player/game with this mindset. Throughout a league game, everyone doesnt have to be in the same table to win a game; nor is it toxic. For example, lets say we're down 4-14 and as an adc main i decide to farm this game out and not group because i would be slaughter'd. This is not toxicity behavior especially when the player communicates this with the team. When a player doesnt agree with you it doesnt make them toxic but "YOU" toxic when you say "that so player" who doesnt listen to me is toxic. We need to get rid of this mentality of "agree with me" or ill report for toxic. I think alot of people in this game need to learn some social skills that if you work a job that requires teamwork, not every1 is going to be on the same page. Does that make that person an incompetent group member? No. Does it make you an incompetent group member when you get mad over another persons' opinion? Yes. Lets all try to work together and even though we have disagreements on what to do, we're on the same team and we're fighting for the same obj. Thanks for reading my long rant thought i put this out there.

The behavior you describe, also known as “afkfarming” and refusing to group to defend what you have remaining, can be considered a manner of avoiding LeaverBuster detection. If you decide to farm up a big wave, back and defend, then go to another lane and farm up another one, that’s acceptable. If you decide to sit in one lane farming or farm jungle all game, and don’t group, it is toxic.

I agree with you that teamwork is necessary to win, but sometimes I find it’s just better to go along with what people are asking of you so as to not anger them and/or tilt them. For example, when I play Teemo ADC, I’m a split pushing machine. But my team would rather me group with them, even when I’m in their base getting an inhibitor, to defend the second tier mid turret. I mean, is it the best thing? Do I agree with it? Not really, but I’ll do what they want just so they don’t feel like I’m not being a team player.
