So I have a question I want each and every summoner to ask themselves, Why if I do a good job supporting I still lose? have you ever been in such a situation where you could be doing a good job supporting warding and go 2/0/23 and your team some how still throws the game then says you suck, I have and it's not nice being a good supp main, sometimes you get mad at these things and you say some things you didnt mean, for that I apologize good day
As a support you can perform outstandingly, but if your team doesn't follow-up then not much you can do by yourself once it gets to late game unless there's a huge gap of skill difference between you and your opponents. As for ppl blaming you, you need to steel yourself before you pvp in this game. People will always blame you; they blame you when you're losing, and they still blame you when you're winning.
You just cant carry as support pick another lane

Which sucks, because I do try just as hard as everyone else to win, I have to baby sit my adc and that in itself is a job alone, cause if they get fed the adc swears he did it on his/her own but if they die alot then it's my fault... I usually only play bot lane or jungle, but im best as support I have this thing where I get scared if i played a different role I will lose in that role, but im more comfortable supporting even though I can do great and still lose
