Riot, do you even punish people anymore?

I write this because this seems to be a constant thing. And it's...terrible. I don't think you guys punish people as long as they don't int, making very terrible comments, or hacking. I just never seem to see it. The thing is that it's not even a every now and then thing anymore. It's the majority of games. The community as a whole seems to be toxic as hell and honestly, I don't think you care anymore. I'm sure there are hundreds or thousands of these threads and I think you basically gave us the finger as a community.

Why is it that in nearly every game I get toxic people? I'm going to say that I can be toxic/negative at times but, I'm normally not. I try not to provoke it. And usually I succeed. I think it's one of those things where if it keeps happening, you feel the need to do it back. And before it's mentioned that I can mute people, I know I can. I don't feel I should have to feel obligated to have to mute for nearly every game I'm in. It just seems to get worst. I can ask a single question and I'm told to kill myself. I asked someone why they picked Mundo Support and they told me to kill myself. Does that seem right to you? I don't think it does. Or I get a troll who happens to int bot cause I wanted pressure. " There's your pressure". This is a type of thing that happens too often and it's not okay. I personally suffer from severe depression and a lot of the time, I have a thick skin. It's just game after game after game, it wears you down and I get depressed from a game I've been playing since before season 1 and that's just not fair to me. It's not fair to others. I

I just want to know why. Are your resources too limited? Is it a lack of money? Do you not care? And it's not that, what's being done to stop this? Do you have plans in the work or anything? I just feel like I'm being left in the dark with nipping hounds at my ankles. I would just like some kind of response. Thank you. - Harper

Why do people always assume that the reporting system doesn't work when just one look at this forum would prove that it does?

Banning is a reactive thing. If someone is being toxic towards others, they'll eventually get banned, but it starts out with harsh penalties like suspension.

Just because Riot is banning people, doesn't mean they can stop someone with no track record from being toxic to you.

People get second chances to correct their behavior before having to start a new account. If people got banned every time they got reported, this game would be a ghost town.

they do punish people, they just do a horrible job in showing you that they punish people.

We'll probably be getting the new features later after the new client is done. Hopefully we get something like this.

So, your complaint is, that they don't punish people, unless they deserve a punishment.

How is that a bad thing, please explain.
