Falsely being reported again

I'm sick and tired of being falsely reported by people who go in and duo, or go in with a group of 3 or 4. All the time i get harassed and trolled and when the game is over, I'm the one who gets the suspension and chat restricts after doing nothing wrong. The only time I have ever been toxic was when I was being accused of trolling and harassing. We as a community need to put an end to toxic players. I was just suspended early this morning for retaliating to a person who called me a "down-syndrome idiot". This player didn't even receive a chat restrict for bullying and being toxic multiple times to me. I'm officially done playing league of legends. I am done playing until this community puts a stop to this behavior.

lol i got reported by premades so many times since season 2 and i never got any restricts or banns or anything. if you do nothing wrong and ppl report you, nothing will happen besides that "warning" poppin up telling you you got reported more than usual.

you really think riot is that stupid that they make a system where you play with 3 friends and just report the random for fun and the random gets banned? if thats the case, this game would be dead since 3 years.

stop making stuff up. you get restricts and banns for a reason.

ps: how do you know the other person didnt get a restriction? did you log in his account and checked? did he tell you, because i bet he was honest Kappa.

i bet the chat was like this: random guy: hey you are a down syndrome idiot you: stfu reported fuck you enjoy bann.

Since i reported him, i would have gotten an email saying that he did receive a restriction, or a ban. Also i was never even rude to him in the logs, but the logs only showed what i said so it wouldn't even make sense in the first place.

you dont get this "email" all the times. riot said that aswell its kinda random if it pops up
yea the log only shows your chat because you only get punished for YOUR chat. if someone flames you that doesnt allow you to flame back. ignore him and stay above him, or flame and get the punishement you should try to inform yourself more im pretty sure your "bann" has a good reason

I'm sorry but i still didn't deserve this ban lol the worst thing i said the whole game is "you didn't fucking help me" when he was bitching that he was helping me all this time and all he did was troll and sit in a bush on the enemy teams side then he said I "push too much". I got banned and he didn't, at the least we both should have.

Retaliation is NEVER acceptable, and therefor if you retaliated, then the report is not false in any way.

Correct. You can mute him and ignore him, and then report him after the game.

that's actually what i did. In fact i received my suspension while i was still in the lobby. the game had barely ended. riot didn't even check the report they just decided to ban me.

You got flagged at the end of the previous game, the Rioter on duty got your logs, read them quickly(trust me ive been helping on this section of the boards for a while now, it takes like 15 seconds max), and decided that you deserved the punishment.

I really didn't though. I kept asking him to stop being toxic and for the other player to stop trolling me. I said please 4 times. But only i got suspended.

I like how the "You can just mute him" excuse is only used in Riot's defense. Otherwise its either ignored or it's just "I shouldn't have to mute"

Its pretty easy to mute people, I do it myself :o And yes, its a temporary measure, if someone is so toxic they need a mute, they often later get reported, and punished so future players dont need to endure playing with them too.

It is easy, and I'm all for it. The problem with it for me is, people get banned for being big meanies to little Bobby when there's a function to mute. I've seen people get banned just for cursing, something we all do. Why is it such a big deal if you can just mute them? Why do people care? I remember when people would say "There's an option to mute, use it" but people who got triggered or whatever would reply with "I shouldn't have to mute" and end up never doing it as if they WANT to argue/cry/complain/cause drama etc. Why is this only a problem with League? Why do we need to be babied? In other games if some one harasses you, you just mute them and that's the end of it. No one gets banned because that's just how the internet is; people do stupid shit.

Usually in defense of Riot it's "just mute and report", and otherwise it's "Don't report me, just mute me."

Saying "please stop being toxic" when someone calls you a "down-syndrome idiot" isn't retaliation, harassment or toxic. It's a simple and polite request towards blatantly toxic behavior. You can say it might not work and that most toxic players don't care enough about your feelings to change but the standard for a chat comment to be toxic isn't "will this be a useful comment?" it's whether he is abusing other players. If that's really all he wrote, then he was falsely punished but it would be surprising if that was all. However, I really hate it when people just blindly assume everyone punished for responding to a toxic player was retaliating and thus deserves punishment. Not every response is the same as retaliation but sometimes that can still lead to punishment (unfairly). Most of it is due to spite reports.

You will never be punished with a suspension for a spite report, as Riot reviews logs before handing out 14 day/permabans. And it is actually quite efficient to mute someone to avoid responding with toxicity. After you type something toxic, stop and think, delete what you typed and mute the person to avoid risking responding to something else toxic that they say, because you wont see it if they are muted.

The overwhelming majority of the community has no problem doing this, and only a microscopic amount are punished for toxicity.

No....he wouldn't have been banned if he didn't retaliate. If he muted them and said nothing he wouldn't have been punished for toxicity because he wouldn't have been toxic....

If you actually want people to believe that your suspension was unwarranted, you should probably show the chat logs you received. Otherwise will likely not believe your claim.
