I just had a 3-man squad portugese only speakers on my team, and would never communicate in english. I was constantly getting flamed by the one but never even knew what he was saying or what he wanted from me because he never spoke english. C'mon guys, if you're on the US server speak english. There's an LAN server for a reason.

Last time I checked, North America included Mexico, Canada, Cuba, a ton of other Caribbean countries, and plenty of others that I can't list because I don't know them all. It's not the 'Murica Server.
rujitra3 votesTo be fair, last I remember the LAN servers are in Miami, so the Caribbean would be better off connecting to them most likely.
However, Mexico is likely faster connection to the NA servers, as are other parts of central America. Plus, there's a lot of people in the US proper who speak primarily Spanish.

You know the United States technically has no official language, right? What if, I dunno, the people who were speaking to you actually live in the goddamn United States? I already encounter people who speak mostly Polish and English both at a decent amount but literally RARELY encounter someone or some people who speak Arabic. As an Arab, it makes me feel lonely in that server.

It depends on 2 things: 1- if you or the somebody asks where you from and they happen to know your language. 2- if they or an ally spoke your language 1st.
But I personally mostly speak English but I rarely encounter those who speak Arabic anyway.
AeroWaffle3 votesServer location should be chosen based on the location of the player for the sake of latency. Not because they speak one language or another. There are plenty of tools available to the player to still communicate with each other past any language barrier.

if you have issues with what someone is saying in chat, mute them, it's that simple
If you see people using a foreign language in chat simply ask "Hey can you switch over to English?" if they continue to speak in their own language then mute them and ignore them, because they clearly either; A) Don't know the language, or B) Don't want to switch over

Additionally, what are you going to do five years from now when then are more Spanish speakers than English speakers in the US? Maybe the problem is that you need to learn more languages. Duo Lingo is having a sale right now.
I don't think we should ban non englsih speakers from the USA server because they should see people speaking in ENGLISH to want to grow and change themselves. It's a humanitarian crisis and if we don't bring them in how will we lift them up? As a member of this server, No! We're too good for that and it would let some of our LIGHT be wasted!!!!
