Riot Games has received a dispute filed against previous purchases made on your account. This dispute was filed by the financial institution associated with the payments made on the account, and as a result, Riot Games must refund the payments back to the financial institution (a 'Chargeback').

Unfortunately, due to the penalty history on your account, according to our escalation path, I cannot lift this ban. I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, but I hope you can understand. if it is purely a chargeback issue and you resolved it (i.e. paying Riot the money you owe), then you should be ok and support should be able to unban you.

If you in fact used racial slurs, which were discovered by support whilst looking into your case, then stay banned you undesirable individual.

It might hav been a charge back error that got you banned at first but when you sent the support ticket Riot looked into your account and escalated you to a chat related ban.

People realize that unless they change their IRL name, Riot can pretty much track any new smurf if they are going to make a chargeback right? That's basically a good way to get an ID ban.

If you're thinking around getting around this with gift cards, you can pretty much be sure you'll either be banned from using Amazon, or whatever store you make a Lol gift card purchase at. Gift cards will keep you anonymous but you'll never be eligible to dispute a charge either, except with the store.

It's probably both at this point. The chargeback and the report.

To my knowledge, chargebacks suspend your account until you pay the amount back.

However, if you are also permabanned for behavioral, then even if you pay the chargeback amount, your account will still be permabanned under the behavioral punishment.
