My friend got perma ban, he played for 4 years and got punished for toxicity ONCE, now twice tho lol

So today my friend got banned permanently for being quite toxic, i understand that a punishment was deserved but, he got perma banned...

He played since season 3 and received ONLY ONE chat restriction which happened around 4 months ago, basically around 4 years of not being toxic and not getting a punishment. Then in 2017 he got a chat restriction like 4 months ago and that was the last time he got any sort of punishment. Then today he gets a perma ban? I do admit his attitude was quite toxic in the chat logs, but is a perma ban really deserved when a player doesnt flame for 4 years and all he gets is a 10 game restriction and 4 months later a perma ban?

Im not gonna post his chat log because I would have to remove his name from every chat he sent and it will take a long time, but yeah he was saying the N word once and the other times he was just being toxic yknow, the casual bitch, noob, ez, fucker stuff. The chat log contained chat from 2 games only.

Fun fact: He was lvl 2 honor

IK Riot wont unban him but I want to hear your opinion

well, aside from that. it doesn't matter if he wasn't toxic for years or not, what matters is that he was toxic.

and since you can't provide us the chat logs we can't really discuss this any further. maybe have your friend come on the boards and talk about it.

Just copy the chatlogs in a textdocument, press cntrl + f and replace his name with "". Not that hard ;^)

Either your friend is not telling you about a 14 day ban or he was saying so really egregious stuff so they skipped the next tier (14 day ban) and went straight to perma ban.

Also honor was reset like 2 weeks ago when the new system was implemented, with everyone being placed at lvl 2. The fact that he was lvl 2 honor is completely meaningless at this point in time.
