Got banned permanently

Honestly, I feel like I know why I was banned; I was getting pretty mad at my teams in ranked play because most of them weren't playing very well, and we'd end up losing. But the thing is I never got any warnings before hand. Isn't that how it's supposed to work? Like I haven't played the game in a very long time and now I get on to come back and I suddenly see I've been perma banned. Like I could make another account. Just the mere fact that I wasted so much time and money on it is what bothers me mostly.

A long time away does not reset your accounts standing. Any punishments you got before your long break would be treated as if they had just happened when determining your punishment now.

If no reason was given (no chat logs, no mentioning of use of third-party tools/account sharing, etc etc), you may have been given a "Shield ban" (Temporary security lock on your account until you contact Riot Support and sort it out), or a Chargeback ban (if anything purchased is charged back, Riot locks the account until the money owed to them is paid back)

You usually get an email or a reason.

As long as you weren't typing ANY racist chat or things like "KYS", you're safe. Just contact them.
