Unfair Permaban From Riot Games (Please Help)

Today, I was permabanned for no conceivable reason at all. Riot's email claimed I had used "scripts, hacks, exploits or unauthorized third-party programs in League of Legends". But I swear I use no programs that might even remotely help me cheat in this game. The programs I use are Open Broadcast Software to record games and Overwolf to watch replays after deaths (saw on nightblu3's stream). I do not understand what kind of 3rd-party programs Riot is discussing. For the past several weeks, I've been sparingly playing games of League of Legends to study for finals, and have only played two games of ranked when they marked me as inactive. I do not understand AT ALL why I have been banned . I even have a recording of a league game I played while fiddling around with my replay system as I got it.(Do not know how to add that video into this post yet) It just perplexes me how Riot can perm-ban a player without providing any evidence and reason. :(

Additional Info: Was suspended once for using MKJogo around 6 months ago. However I have not used that program once since that incident. I did not uninstall it because I assumed as long as I didn't use it, there would be no need to waste the time to find and delete the files

I have never been toxic before in this game and slowly got my way to plat this year. On top of that I had planned to try to see how far I could climb up the ranking ladder during summer vacation. Just bought new skins on the account because I thought it would be an investment to my years to come. I do not lend my account information to anyone, as I like to keep privacy over my belongings.

Please help, anyone who reads this. League of Legends is one of those games where all my gaming friends have gotten into. I joined a school group that focuses on team play in League of Legends and really have nothing but utter shock that this had happened

I was gold 3 for 2 seasons in a row. Coming from silver is no trouble at all. Going into plat was more of a struggle, but really its just me getting better at the game

This means nothing. I have the same ban in Silver. Isn't the point of the game to get better?

This season has been the only season I've actually begun to try to climb as far as I could. I really am disgusted by the people who script or pay someone to boost them. The whole pride and joy in games like these are to get as far as you can on your own merits.

Even if you use scripts it doesn't mean you are going to climb. It is still a team game. So saying scripts help you climb is obviously because you have no knowledge of the game.

I am not sure what is going on with Riot.. I got the same ban after playing for over 6 months since my last warning on anything. Only thing I have done different is not rage as much and play my champs more and get better.. Went from S5 to S1 and once I got to S1 promo's to go gold, now banned.

Mkjogo still runs background processes if it is installed. You got permabanned for having it installed.

Isn't this excessive though? From that Riot doesn't care about their players at all, I had no idea that Mkjogo would still effect my account. A permaban with no info at all seems just way too extreme

to be fair, no one, not even riot can without a doubt prove you are not using it, if you have it installed for them they see the same thing as if you were using it. they have no way of knowing what functions you accessed ingame.

so you got banned for using it, you might not of used it, but by just having it installed it makes riot see it, and they cannot differentiate. this should be complaining to the mkjogo team not riot about it. its really their fault for failing to make mkjogo fall within the eula of riot, or at least make it so when disabled it doesnt run background processes and get you banned.

Yeah it's really sad that they are banning their creative community that was making custom skins and enjoying it. Got banned for the same reason, i feel ya pain :(

I dont remember where I read it but I am pretty sure OverWolf has not been cleared by Riot yet.

I think overwolf is not allowed, but the MKjogo thing...doesn't that modify files and install a couple items? I'd be near positive that if you didn't uninstall that program there would be traces of it lingering.

Even if you don't use it/forgot to uninstall it, just having it damned you.
