Season 6 Ranked Rewards

Hello everyone. I honestly am wondering about a couple of situations on whether or not people are going to get ranked rewards. I have never been banned or restricted in my life, so this does not concern me, but I am curious about my friends. One of them has been recently banned for 14 days due to toxic behaviour. Is he going to get ranked rewards if he doesn't get any more restrictions? Another one got only chat banned 2 days before and already 'payed his debts'. But I also heard that even chat bans during the season deny the player ranked rewards. So, if he doesn't get any more bans, does the chat restricted friend also doesn't get any rewards?

Season 5, the rules were you don't get ranked rewards if you've been banned within 3 months before the end of the Season, ie around August 2016.

That is subject to change for 2016, but I'd be surprised if they did because they should've announced it earlier in that case.

I've looked into support.riotgames.com, but there I just found info about the last season, not this one, that's why I'm just curious :)

Last season the rule was "No ban within 3 months of the season ending, no active restriction, no MMR boosting ban". If the rules are remotely close to last time then he is in the clear unless it was for boosting.

Usually it is within 3 months of end of season that actually matters when it comes to restrictions/bans and rewards. If your friend just had a 2 week ban tell him to play very carefully for the next 3 months, because he is about to get perma banned if he gets a few more reports after the 14 day ends.
