Reporting During Champion Select

This conversation has been up before but I think it should be brought up again. There has to be some way that this issue gets fixed I've been playing this game since season 2 and time and time again I've noticed that there have been countless people that INT in champion select and specifically state I'm going to INT because something doesn't go their way (Not hovering a pick that gets banned mainly) sometimes picks that shouldn't get in certain roles that are bound to lose or heavily favor the other team. People can't continuously dodge games without having LP get dropped to try to save the team, everyone else suffers but that one person. I think Riot should implement something to save some of us that have to deal with this on a constant basis. Some way to truthfully report or acknowledge that this person has been negative even before the game starts. Besides posting it on the forum for full blasting their account.

Posting it on the forum would do nothing besides put you at risk of moderator action. The forums are primarily for community discussion, and we, the community, can't do anything with information given about another player. And on top of that, Naming & Shaming is against the Boards Universal Rules, so "posting it on the forum" isn't an alternative - it isn't even an option, for that matter.

As for pre-game lobby reports, here are some questions;

  1. How would the reports be handled if the match is dodged - whether by the supposed troll, or someone else dodging because of said troll?
  2. How would the reports be handled if the match proceeds without any negative behavior on the part of the supposed troll?
  3. You bring up people losing LP due to dodging - why would that be worth noting in regards to reports?

Design a system that won't be abused by people then. Market it. Profit.

Why not just submit a player support ticket to report them?

Take a screenshot of what they do before you dodge, submit a ticket. There ya go, report solved.

(That being said, I find it hard to believe that you see this issue constantly... I mean, I've certainly seen people do stupid things in champ select, but as far as I've seen, it's really rare overall...)
