So a friend of mine and I were in a ranked game and the tf on our team got mad at me for telling him to be careful. So this guy apparently looks up my personal info and threatened to call the cops on me. We reported him but I was wondering if there was anything else i could do.
Kinda ruins the fun of the game with players like this
Unless you gave him some way to look up your personal information or added him to your skype call (can get ip address), there is no way he was being truthful.

how does he look up your personal info? did you give him your facebook name were you post half naked pics in front of your house and they see your street number? (yea thats a reference to the "facebook teens" these days)
i think players like this just add up to the fun. if someone is like "you told me to be careful in a game, IM GONNA CALL THE COPS ON YOU!!!" i'd have to go afk for a min because i'd laugh so hard i couldnt hold my mouse anymore.

Computers, the Internet and their use, don't work as depicted in Marvel - Movies.
You can't just magically "look up someones info". How is he going to identify you? He can't even look up your IP address, as he would require root access to the game server to do that...which he doesn't have.
And even with your IP address, he could do nothing, as the only one who could help him there, are the guys from your ISP, and they don't give away that information.
So, unless you somehow GAVE him the information (like your real name, link to a youtube/twitch channel bearing your real name, facebook contact,...), how is he going to do that?
Answer: He isn't. Hes just a tall-talking flamer trying to intimidate you.
