People are putting too much pressure on new players.

So, I recently created a new accout on NA and in my first PVP match i got matched against a platinum 4 player that has 3 other gold accounts. We were duo top so he started flaming us because we have no jungler on level 3 match. The next game we had a silver 3 smurf that started flaming our top lane riven for having 0/7 even tho she said she is completely new to the game. The silver guy then said riven has to go play tetris as it is "easy". And that she should delete lol. Few games later our mid laner wished brain cancer and death on nami from our team because she took a kill. He was then suspended tnx to report feedback system that popped that messege on my screen telling me the player i recently reported is suspended.

well .. as you stated, you created a new account .. so you got a lvl 30 account and played for a while? Don'T exactly know how, but the system recognizes you as a smurf ... and because of that, you get other opponents as real new players

at least that is, how it should be working ...

As the other guy said, you get matched with smurfs because you're a smurf. The new player experience is still shit, but it's not as bad as what you are seeing.

In my experience as a new player i have ran into so many toxic people it has been surprising. I have ran into maybe 2 people that were understanding of my n00bie status. It's very sad.

I have been playing maybe a month and a half, reached level 30 and when i started playing ranked games it has just been overran with rude, obnoxious people. It's like every game so far in ranked has been a horrible experience. I even let my team know before hand that i am new to the game haven't been playing very long and if i make mistakes I'm sorry before the match even starts. I'm sure even the best players have bad games or they get matched up with someone that is better then them on occasion.

The only advice i have for someone wanting to be rude or berating a player for their mistakes is, you should just be quiet about it unless your willing to offer constructive advice on what they are doing wrong and how they can fix it in a nice manner. I can almost guarantee once you start harassing the player that made a mistake and you continue through the entire match you will get a loss. i know when someone starts berating me and telling me how bad i am i play even worse, not on purpose just i get frustrated and my play suffers. I have seen it happen to others also and I'd be willing to bet anything i had that these players berating others have had bad games and I'm 100% positive they made stupid mistakes when they were new also.

So far the community i have met there have been very few good teammates and seems to be overrun with rude, obnoxious people who i would love to meet in real life and have them talk to me like they do in the game. I have a feeling they wouldn't be so free with the way they talked to me.

woah woah wooooah I am a gold ranked player in online Tetris website. That shit is not easy and is actually very stressful. But back on topic with your issue.

I have 2 smurf accounts right now. One on LAN and the other here on NA. I have encountered the same as you and well frankly I couldn't give a flying mafoobies to what they say. My typical response is this "You're playing with low ranks who have no idea what they're doing" new comment "Instead of flaming us. How about spreading the wisdom and helping us improve?" ...They surprisingly immediately shut their traps and play the game normally.

I simply don't understand how some people can be in such high ELO's. Then outright trash on people instead of helping them improve.
