the reporting is way too unnecessary. i mean, im on a 14 day chat restriction for calling a guy a noob once. common. communication is a big part of league of legends, so limiting chat doesn't really make sense to me. and we all know there's always that one guy on the team who gets pissed off at the match, and takes it out on someone on the team, telling everybody to report them for sucking, feeding, etc. so because of a person like that im on a 14 day chat restriction. i have spent over 100$ on this game and this is the thanks i get? i haven't been able to experience this new chest thing because " im unable to earn rewards due to previous behavior restrictions." so much bs. the community here is absolute garbage, and the reporting bs is just way to over the top. a month after suffering through a brutal 40 game chat restriction, im still paying the price. wtf. this is how you treat your customers?

Dont talk as if your case is the first in LoL. I've seen tons of permabanned threads such as this, and believe me, your case is nothing new at all. Claiming that you called someone bad once, mention the ever-useless amount of $$ you spent on your account, and best of all, not posting the chat logs for evidence.

And the fact that you still don't post your chat logs is making your argument very invalid. Just log in & copy-paste them here. If not there, then check your email or contact Riot Support for one. Unless you're scared to do it, then thanks for proving my "no chat logs = ur toxic" point.

So you don't want to know what exactly caused the punishment? If you do know then you can correct your behavior so you don't get punished again. You don't have to be a super happy rainbows and daisies personality in chat. Just stick to using pings and communicating important things like these: Flash down, Ult down, etc.

You must have said something much worse much more frequently. I've slung my own fair share of hatred when I get pissed, but it is infrequent enough that I have not been punished. Most of the people who I've seen get punished were REALLY bad. As in "@@@@ you're @@@@ @@@@@@@@ @@@@@@ @@@@@@ @@@@@ @@ @@@@@@ @@@@@ @@@@@@ @@@@ @@@@ @@@@ @@@ @@@@ @@", like they are reciting the entire glossary of profanities and trying to be as foul mouthed and offensive as possible. I knew a guy who, every game he was in, he'd fly off into baby-punching rage and bombard the Skype call we were in AND the game chat with F and N bombs over the smallest thing. I'm actually surprised he wasn't permabanned sooner.

no i don't really swear, especially not like a sailor. when i get real upset over a league match, which is rare, instead of saying anything id regret, i leave my computer, and play some ps4 for a bit to calm down. id rather get punished for leaving then raging. what happened was i would make a premade party with one other friend and only play aram, because i didnt have alot of time to play a real game. anyways people would get a champ like master yi or zyra, and build tanky. id give em pointers on what to buy and stuff, but theyd build tank anyways, so id call em a noob, then they spam /all "this guys so toxic, report him". some people even did that because i simply wouldent trade champs during selection.

Gang reporting doesn't work. I know because I went through 50 games in a row a few months ago where players kept trying to 9-man report me, and Riot has said themselves that it doesn't work. The Tribunalbot scans for excessive foul and offensive language (some are triggered more than others) and punishes accordingly. You could have also been punished for a negative attitude (excessive defeatism, for example) or leaving right in the middle of a game.

What we need, however, is solid proof that what you say is true, AKA chat logs.

14 day chat restriction Doesn exist.... It is 10 game and 25 game chat restrictions then 14 day BAN then perma ban......(unless your talking a forum restrictions)

I feel sympathy for op.

Been stuck in g5 0lp for 3 weeks now getting really frustrated. Ive had 2 chat restricts within this month already because of dynamicQ bias. (tribunal corruption)

Now I lost a game because of 2 trolls (Premades.... they fed, flamed and trolled in my game. Provoked me into ragemode due the frustration ive had for 3 weeks for now and reported me because they got me provoked into rage) I got out of the game only to find 10.53am post in my mail "yeah you have been suspended for 14days because trolls are ment to be roaming freely ruining peoples games, getting hardworker removed from the game. Sincerely your corrupted and biased Tribunal :) #toxickayle"

Well ive uninstalled the game for now ^^ Have fun those who still can "enjoy" this FUCKING SHIT game.

There is no dynamic queue bias. They built the system so dynamic queue teams can't 'gang report'.

Some of us have played 5-6 years with a system that had a lot more sanity and a lot less breastfeeding.

While Anomander likely has the right of it here, I can say that the example given in my chat restriction contained little of consequence from me. I saw no evidence of 'toxicity' or whatever else, just someone responding fairly mildly to what was clearly verbal and in game harassment from a premade duo.

Riot doesn't care about toxicity in terms of gameplay. They want their game to "look" clean. There's a reason we don't have tribunal anymore. Tribunal showed you game stats, timestamps, and complete chat logs. It doesn't matter if people are justified in their actions. The actions themselves have become unacceptable.

The goal here is for League to be a happy fairyland. Who cares if the game turns to crap and its populated by passive aggressive jerks.

My best suggestion is to keep your mouth shut and if you feel attacked, especially by groups, quit. Behavior <<< words in the eyes of Riot, so use that.

That is what I am saying. They made several posts about it. A 4 man premade can all report you, but it only counts once. Meanwhile, the single person in that instance has the weight of four reports against any of them. They noted that while there was no specific increase in toxicity in 2 or 3 man teams, 4 man teams did encourage a certain mob mentality and there were problems, so they adjusted for them.

So whatever other problems you have with dynamic queue, that specific problem is misinformed. I like to keep up with red tracker via surrender at 20 to keep up to date.

shitty deal. i should of read the message when i try and log on, turns out im suspended till next month, then i get a 14 day chat restriction, then i wont be able to receive chest stuff till i demonstrate a positive behavior. so pretty much never, because there's always going to be that one guy in the team who gets there panties in a bunch because something doesn't go there way, and decides to report you because you didn't build like they think you should, have a negative kdr, was around him when he died and "didn't help at all", etc. so i bid league of legends farewell. the community is nothing but a bunch of angry little kids/trolls, and riot is the over protective parent who punishes you for minor things.

You do realize there's people like myself that WILL Always Tower over YOU, some RIOT employees that's for sure, because we adults have to keep these kids in check @ all times.

Riot is shit. So is their chat restriction/banning system. It's resulting in their downfall, so I would recommend finding another game to play. No point in playing a game where the balance team is non-existent and the reporting system is an abysmal failure. Don't even get me started on dynamic queue....
