_This is an email I sent to Riot Support. I am posting it here as well. _

To whomever it may concern,

Last week, my account "CAGE PLEBS" was "permanently suspended." When I first received this message I was baffled, unaware to why this had happened. The initial email I received read -

_"Actions that have been performed on your account are in violation of the League of Legends Terms of Use. You can review these terms at http://www.leagueoflegends.com/legal/termsofuse

Due to the severity of this violation, your League of Legends account has been banned until Tue Feb 22 22:22:22 UTC 2828

If you have any questions, contact our Player Support team at https://support.leagueoflegends.com/home

Riot Games Player Support"_

This e-mail gave no clear reason to why my account was banned, and that angered me. I have been a paying customer to Riot Games for the past 2 years, and to receive no evident reason why I was banned from a game I love and play almost everyday... it just made me emotional.

I then opened a ticket and tried to resolve and clarify why this had happened. I sent an email with the ticket that was much too over the top, using vulgar language and cursing. I was extremely frustrated at the time, and it was totally unnecessary. About a week later I received this email regarding my ticket.

_"Hello Aaronadams33,

Your account has been permanently closed for in-game actions following a specialized audit that tracks this sort of behavior, which may include griefing other players or intentionally feeding. These actions are against the Summoner's Code and the Terms of Use, which you agreed upon when signing up for League of Legends.

For more information, check out Lyte's forum post on the initiative here:

http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4813730

In your games you would say your are going to intentionally feed and then follow up on those threats. This vindictive behavior is unacceptable and as things stand we will not be unbanning this account.

I then realized why I had been banned, and it hit me like a brick. I have a little brother, Sean, who was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia 6 months ago. He is 11 years old, and always wants to play video games with me. Since League of Legends is a very complicated game, it's something that he never really learned, and it saddened me, since I'm always playing.

Earlier last week, I had received "Leaverbusters" for my connection quitting out on me. I used to have a flaky router, one that always cut in and out on me. I thought it would be a good idea to have Sean play these leaverbusters for on "ARAM" games, so he could get a decent understanding of League. While he played those games, I played on my level 4 account with my friends on my laptop, waiting for the leaverbusters to be over so my friends didn't have to wait 20 minutes to play as well.

My brother had no clue what he was doing, and did terribly every single game. While I know it was detrimental to other players in the same game with Sean, he was still learning, and they were ARAM games. I also was given no warning prior to the ban, something that would have stopped me from letting Sean play these games.

Riot, please do not ban my account for one instance of my brother attempting to learn the game on his older brothers account. He is my sick little brother, although thankfully doctors are indicating he will be healthy in a year. He struggles keeping up with games, friends, and fun - with his rigorous treatment. Please understand that I have put in a large amount of money in this account on skins and other "RP" related things.

I promise to be more cautious with my account. I made Sean his own account, one that he can play "Bots" games on and learn without harming other players' experiences. I did recently purchase a new router, one that has not given me grief connection wise.

I love League of Legends, and I would love to continue playing. I apologize to you, and to the players that were in these games. If you choose not to unban my account, I understand.. I know Riot has a strict policy. I just wish you can find it in your hearts to possibly make an exception, given the circumstances. If anyone in this thread can help me out, that would be incredible.

Thank you

How much coin you've spent on the game means nothing, Riot doesn't hand out perm bans for first offenses so you've been given multiple warnings in the past. You were skating on thin ice already and further occurrences of poor behavior - as stated by Riot via their audit - did you in.

All these heartless people on here.. I really hope you get your account back because right now riot is a piece of shit company for not fully investigating or even attempting to investigate your account. This is worrying me tho that riot would permanently ban an account when you have someone with special needs playing on it for intentional feeding. how do they know it's intentional? I've had people joke in chat these past two weeks about intentional feeding, I report them, and only once has the "a player has been punished" has popped up.

Did your brother also say in chat that he was going to feed then intentionally feed? I question the sincerity of your post here.

Sorry about your situation but there is so much wrong here. Not only were you account sharing(which is a perma banable offense on its own) but doing so specifically to avoid a previous punishment. Maybe I am looking a little too hard for added negatives here but also having your sick brother sit through your punishment for you doesn't sit right with me either.

It's unfortunate, and I wish your brother the best in his recovery.

But that doesn't change the fact that sharing accounts is not allowed by Riot. They're fairly strict about that, and many players have been banned for doing so. You should have served your LeaverBuster penalties on your own time playing ARAMs if you so desired, and should never let anybody else play on your account. Even if they do revoke the intentional feeding ban, the account would probably still remain banned for account sharing.

This is what the Riot community has come too. People so offended by micro aggressions that Riot has implemented a system to ban people. So what if this kid fed in an ARAM. At the end of the day it is a game.

Oh No!! You did't win your ARAM because of a feeder?? How will you ever survive. This 11 year old kid is facing a life or death situation and all you nerds care about is maybe he might feed in your game! Get over it. Also, who cares if brothers share accounts. I get it Riot has it in their policy but that is to cover their own ass. I can't even believe I am reading what some of you beta nerds wrote about "Rules" and "feeding".

Maybe Riot should implement a system where 4 players can vote kick a feeder out of the game or at champ select instead of punishing people for playing a game.

Give this kid his account back and rest of you people in this community need to sack up.

If your brother came to League from Call of Duty, he's probably heard things via chat that he's come to think of as 'normal' in video games that are considered punishable here (I've heard some pretty foul things on the CoD servers that would be no-question punishes here).

As far as the account sharing goes, yeah, this is one of the reasons it's against the rules. You're responsible for anything done/said on your account, and if you gives someone access, you give up control to that other person.

I feel for you man, but there is no way you can prove any of this. If Riot lets you through every perma-ban will have a sick brother from now on.

Hope your bro gets better soon. Fishing is a way better family activity than League; good to see you guys having quality time together.

just make a new account wtf, learn from your mistakes

PIMPSMOOTH11/30/2015, 9:51:17 PM1 votes

Not buying it, even if I did account sharing = auto ban and everyone knows it.

shyv12/1/2015, 12:44:56 AM1 votes

you guys are terrible. like, you have a point that account sharing is against the rules, but that's not what he was banned for. he's an 11 year old disabled kid. where is your compassion? being bad at the game is not against the rules. and to make it worse you accuse the kid of being fake / not really sick and just a sob story to get his account back........ is it possible? of course. but you do not know this person's life and you are in no place to make these accusations. honestly what is wrong with you people

CAGE PLEBS12/1/2015, 2:52:53 AM1 votes

Just wanted to touch base. I understand that this is the internet, and it's very easy for people to fabricate things, to create "sob stories" for their advantage. If you do not wish to believe my extremely unfortunate circumstance, that's up to you. But I like to think I've been an honest person throughout my life. This e-mail above is the truth - and all I want is for Riot to be aware of the actual events that occurred in order for them to make the right decision regarding the ban on my account. If they wish to ban/suspend me for first-time account sharing, with no forewarning, so be it. That makes sense. But don't ban me for my little brother for feeding some kills in ARAM games. My brother now has his own account, I know have a $200 router that gives me very strong connection, which will eliminate me leaving games, and receiving Leaverbusters.

During this holiday season, nothing would please me more to play League of Legends with my brother, and show him the ropes. I just hope Riot gives me a chance to do that on my account, one that I have put a serious amount of time and money into.

God Bless,

CAGE PLEBS Ezreal
