I can't see anyone inting in your most recent two games. I suspect you got mad at someone for not doing exactly what you wanted and thus flamed them.

Regardless, you don't ever have the right to flame others. I encourage you to post your unedited chat logs here.

Then Riot will punish you accordingly up to and including permanent suspension if necessary.

You're also not going to win games very much. People who don't flame win more games than those who don't.

Why should they disable a feature many people use properly just because you're unable to stop yourself from abusing it?

They have never been against you returning if you behave properly. I guarantee you none of them says "we want you to come back and keep being toxic".

The reason they don't prohibit players coming back is because it's virtually impossible to enforce in today's internet world.

Riot will not do anything to encourage players to not use chat. The goal is for all players to use chat appropriately - not to abuse it and not to avoid using it.

Furthermore, they have observed that with long term chat restriction/disabling it only caused an increase in hard-to-confirm gameplay toxicity such as griefing - which is much more detrimental to the game than just simple flaming, but is immensely harder to confirm and punish.

Yes I agree with you.

Being toxic is obviously not beneficial for the company, the player or the game.

I just don't buy that they want to completely remove people for being toxic.

Do you believe in a league of legends with 100% toxicity free zone?

Ofc they don't, if they wanted to, they'd ban every person that was toxic just once. But intent of bans is not to remove all toxic behaviour, it's to remove consistent toxic behaviour.

Riot has stated before, flaming once in a while is fine, because we are humans and make mistakes. But if you flame in every second match you're in, that's when you get punished.

Also, permabans usually achieve their goal. Most permabanned players don't return or if they do, don't flame enough to be banned again. People like you are rare exception, that is actually mostly funny. Not only you punish yourself by going through leveling your account every time you get permabanned, but also because you get banned so often, you can't reach high enough ranks to flame in matches where most people give a fuck about winning anyways.

I believe that I am one of those people who get "heated" like you describe. My response to that is that I have never even opened all-chat for use, because I know I would react badly to it. And if someone from the team says anything negative in team chat (or pings spams), I follow this simple procedure: mute the annoyance, play the game to the end as well as I can (even if the heating he managed to do to me does lower my ability to play a bit), never say anything to the annoyance or about him, and report him in the post-game lobby. After that I try to forget him. You might wish to try the same if you occasionally wish to keep your account. I am still using my first and only account, and I will continue doing so for as long as League keeps me interested.

There are rules against toxicity. Let's put it this way: You're in the Keg and repeatedly call your hostess a slut and other rude, racist terms. You've spent $50 on steak, but still get kicked out. Yes, you've paid money, but you've also ruined the atmosphere of the restaurant for other diners, not to mention that verbal harassment is generally illegal, and you can actually get arrested for verbal abuse. You can also get arrested for saying inappropriate things on the internet, which should definitely be an incentive for people to stop sending death threats over video games. Says Riot. You'll flame and Riot will just simply punish you. So please do so, we could use one less of you.

YOU SO BAD2 votes

You can turn the chat off if your not brain dead.

just saying.

Google it.

Or simply click and drag it off your screen.

As far as honoring opponents.

You could honor opponents for a long time. So saying that there is no way to do it cuz you cant know if someone is honorable unless they are on your team is factually wrong.
