What is the consensus on using "Enemy Missing" ping to indicate a mistake?

I'm seeing this a lot in my games, and wanted to hear what other people think of this. Is this reportable behavior, or am I just getting upset too easily?

nothing wrong with it

I have reported for it in the past. Taken too far, it's harassment. How far is too far is up to each person individually.

It's rude, and I report it.

Whatever fight or event that was going on the match is done and over, and it won't help to focus on it and debate it in chat. It won't help to waste the team's valuable time and focus on it by explaining or defending my actions and arguing whether it was right or wrong. I died, I missed a queue for my ability or to engage with a teammate, I got caught in the jungle, I wasn't aware of something on the map, whatever. Big deal, let's move on.

It's like when I make a mistake and someone says "WTF (mychampionnamehereincaps)?????"

I just mute them. Unfortunately, I cannot mute their pings, and I hope Riot changes this soon.

It emerged recently, didn't it? Like in past 6 months? It's obvious misuse of the ping, it should be frowned upon hard by Riot in my opinion. We've got a nice way of quick communication, and people use it to harrass other people. This is why we can't have nice things.

What bothers me is when someone pings danger mid gank. I'm already fight8ng them 1v2 or trying to run but someone just pings danger like I don't know I'm fighting.

No it's irritating for sure, personally I find it pretty tilt worthy.

"Yes, I died....BECAUSE I WAS CC'D DAMMIT!"

It's probably because the symbol is a "?" so it's like they're saying "WTF?"

It is probably reportable, but I don't know. There are so many possible answers to this question that cannot be answered by me, so I will simply leave this thread to a red administrator/moderator to answer in due time.

Well, it's a question mark so it's like "Why why why why why why why why"

Super annoying tho. Almost as bad as someone telling you to leave when you're half way back.

I've used it before when I see people do some ridiculously 'brave' plays. Not spamming it but just kind of like 'wtf was that?'

I know that it's used to harass people, as it's been used to harass me on numerous occasions, but I think if you have a decent raport with your teammates and someone does something obviously questionable, it's like a kind of a jab or saying 'I saw that' sort of thing, as long as you just limit it to one ping.
