After a set amount of time 10min? 15 min? I think Riot should allow a person to Quene and take said persons position???

What is wrong with this thought? And for one of the best games of modern time, why hasn't this been implemented?

I am NOT talking about someone who has an internet or computer crash issue and reconnected within 5 mins, that's fine it happens. I'm talking about those persons who are lvl 2 or lvl 4 on homeplate, when we are all lvl 16 or lvl 18 thinking...

Like** 4v5 **losses in ranked should NOT be a thing Being demoted for an AFK / DC / LEAVER should NOT be a thing.

If you lose it should purely be based on team comp and skill... its ridiculous in my opinion.

Just a few issues:

  • Player queues up and gets stuck into a game in progress on a champ they don't know
  • Player that gets added to the game changes the overall team MMR (affects which side a team should play on and LP/MMR gains)
  • Team was already 4v5 for 10-15 minutes. Their opponents already have an unnatural advantage from all that time the game was uneven
  • If the champ was gone for 10-15 minutes, they'll be very behind in levels and gold anyhow

For it to really make sense to replace a player like that, you'd have to replace them right away. But the system can't predict who will be gone for 2 minutes and who's gone for the rest of the game.

I'm not sure I follow correctly, but are you suggesting that someone queued up for a ranked game should be able to be put into a ranked game already in progress that has had an afk individual for over 10 - 15 minutes?
