Permanently banned - Tried to avoid it

So I asked repeatedly to support if I was able to get a permanent mute, that way I wouldn't keep getting baited into being toxic by my own teammates. But nope, every time I asked I got told that "Communication is an important part of the game and to /ignore all". Yet that's even worse since I can't see what they're saying and removes communication entirely. However my issue with this is that I still feel obliged to type and I can't help it, with a mute I wouldn't even be able to do that and it'd solve my issue. But nah, after so many times asking for it, I never got it and it lead to this. So rip 4 years and a few hundred $$$... Thanks support and thanks to all the teammates baiting me into being toxic :D

You won't mute players who might be "harassing/baiting" you, because it will completely eliminate communication.

But you want to be chat banned, which would completely eliminate your ability to communicate?

Sounds like it is more of a you problem.

What? Did you read what I said? That's what I got told by the support team when ever I asked for a permanent mute. I do mute the team to remove communication, however I still type in chat to vent anger. Which is why I wanted a mute so that I wouldn't be able to do it if I feel tempted.

So because you have no self control, a company should have to cater to you specifically? If they did permanently chat ban you, you would also need to deal with the by product you would be permanently honor level 1. Which means no freebies or ranked rewards.

Better than loosing 4 years and $$$. Others have request mutes and gotten them, so I don't understand why I can't when I just don't want the ability to be able to chat in game.

People who request it, aren't requesting permanent chat bans. They are requesting chat restricts. They also lose their honor levels when applied.

Muting all doesn't solve the issue of still being able to type. I normally type a lot to vent my anger and even if everyone is muted, they can still see what I type and report me because of it.

What's the point of typing in chat if everyone's muted, and you can't see their reactions? Then it really is your own self control. If it's the same in real life, you might want to see someone about anger issues.

I have no idea. Its like saying "FUCK!" out loud, there's no one around but helps relieve anger. Same for me when I type instead.

As much as I hate riots punishment system, this shit with people bitching riot wont permanently mute them is just a way of shifting the blame. If you're toxic, at least have the decency to own it.

Asking Player Support to give you a permanent chat mute isn't "trying to avoid it" - the only thing you're avoiding is your own problem behavior. Riot isn't going to coddle you and prevent you from typing - you're supposed to show enough self control to do that yourself.

If you rant or vent or what have you - find another medium. In-game chat is not the place for venting your frustrations.

If you get "baited" by other people's misbehavior - then try muting them before they start getting to you.
