The reasn why so many old players are quitting league

Honestly i dont care about comments on this post since i would be listening to them since everytime someone comments they try to disprove what is said instead of actually thinking about things.

Now i have decided to quit league after almost a full 8 years playing. When i was brought into the game by a friend, the community was much better then it is now, people willing to learn how to play from those that were willing to teach those new players as well. That aside, I,i myself, always had a fun game with an ever increasing skill cap due to the match making that was perfect. Keep in mind we are talking about the end of season 2 going into season 3 when i first join the communtiy.

I felt honored to not only be able to play against plats and diamonds, once i had a handle on the game with a new level thirty and learn something new all the time. I was also surprised that my skill level was that of diamonds and plats too. Not to mention the sh*t talking that happeed in game and how tibunal actually worked towards rooting out the problems that were causing certain kind of behavior from people who actually new that the tribunal was about justice not always about wanting to perma ban people because they are being reviewed because another player didnt like what was said.

yes i know not the reason im quitting league, but i had to get into how i started before i got to why im quitting.

However, now a days, the league community is so bad that the tiniest shread of something bad said isnt considered "PC" and is immediately reported to a tribunal that isnt even looking for justice.

Yes i have done my research, not only is tribunal running, but i have confirmed that out of everyone that participates in tribunal is only out to bully players out of the game so they can get back to trolling without consequence.

This isnt the only problem. The other problem is how the match making system got so screwed up after season four hit that i wasnt ever able to to play in the skill level i had worked so hard to get to and have fun. I never had any problems with losing a game, and infact it was more on how the game was lost and what players were doing that was causing those game to be lost.

Yes alot of players in a bronze Elo make alot of mistakes but when you have players who jungle and refusing to help even after the lanes are falling one after another. Then you know something is wrong with match making. But wait, that is not all, you also get those kinds of players that deliberately troll one player regardless of what anyone says and follows them around the map making sure they get so far behind by taking the cs and exp so they would never be able to catch up and the game is lost. Yeah i have problems with losing games like that.

Now if a game is lost and everyone is doing their part and yet one team is out matched or just outplayed, then that is fine to me. The enemy team won fair and square, which i honor them and move onto the next game.

But due to the fact that riot has never really listened to the community in what needs to be done, as well as how to fix a lot of problems, Such as the Toxicity problem.

When a player starts to become negative through out a game, and even toxic. There is always an underlying problem that causes this. Not to say when a negative/toxic players threatens another's life or family is it ok. What im saying is those kind of players are that way on their own with no underlying problem.

The underlying problem that causes the negative/toxicity in a game from one or more players that ends up in tribunal, could be looked into to see why. I do happen to know that tribunal does have replay for the game and the individual chat logs for each player reported. God knows what iot was thinking their. But if you had the entire chat logs from all players in the game right infront of the tribunal then,(going back to season 2 and 3 when tribunal was better then this bullying group now), you would be able to do something that fixes the community in the long run and be able to see it last longer then it will probably.

But all and all, when it comes to player behavior, riot and their so call "Behavior Staff" that deals with this kinda of thing apparently do not know the first thing about it, since there are uncalled for Perma bans and punishment.

Seriously Riot, Fix your Sh*t, and maybe you wouldnt have to worry about your game going down the toliet everyday

maybe after years of playing a game daily gets boring and people move on to new things? but you wont read it cuz its only your point of view that matters.. its ok i didnt read past that 1st part of your novel cuz i dont care. and TL;DR

Funny, when I leave a game, I leave it. I dont post some crybaby thread. Ive left league many times. And for the 3-4 months im gone, they dont get my gaming money. And then I come back and they do get that money. For me, it works to mute everyone in my game at the start of the game. This prevents me from seeing the crybaby nonsense as well as preventing me from responding with toxic shit as well. That goes for ranked only, as I try to play my best game when ranked. In normals and aram and special game modes I dont care, as I do "troll pick" a bit more as those modes are more for casual play/having fun. Keeping in mind of course by "troll pick" I mean "NON META" picking.....which to some is considered trolling because they are sheepz.

AYYYYY. Im about to do the same if I they can't even keep the game from crashing after champ select. I wish competitive and normal had different patches. I hate seeing champs that are fun in solo-queue get put in the dirt because someone in lcs can abuse them. They never fucking listen to community ideas on champions. Seeing as it took almost 3 years for them to acknowledge aatrox after people have been bitching forever on the forums about him. I myself can't understand why people are so toxic either. In gold I feel like I'm playing with really good players or someone who belongs at a level 10 skill level. Honestly one of the most frustrating things for me is how slow riot can be. They can shit out new champs left and right, but they wont fix the fucking current champions they have. I do not understand why they keep releasing champions when they could instead make their current champions viable to play in ranked. In ranked its either you pick the best or you are at a disadvantage. You either have to pick god or 1st tier champs, or someone is bound to flame you and call you a retard

So basically you only want "Yesman" responses then. Sorry but that's not how it works. People can disagree with you while also thinking about things as well also.

Sorry but nothing's changed rules wise. The rules that were in effect during the Tribunal's time are still in effect today.

That's where you're wrong; the Tribunal was taken down years ago and was replaced with the Instant Feedback System. It does what the Tribunal struggled to do at times, and that's hand out punishments quicker, faster and accurately. As for trolling, while it can be difficult to track them at times it is indeed punished. Don't believe me? Well here is one such example of that happening. Yes it's just one example, but it proves that they do get punished.

I can't speak for the matchmaking side of things (at least not from a technical standpoint anyways) but it sounds like you're focusing more on what you're teammates are doing than what you are doing instead, which may be why your skill level isn't as high as it was before.

If you're encountering people who do this then report them for it as that is griefing and trolling and is punishable as well. If they do this on a regular basis then they will be punished with a 2-week or a permanent ban depending on the severity of their actions.

Riot does listen to the community, but understand that they're only human and thus will make mistakes every now and then. Just because the game isn't being tailor-made for you doesn't mean that they aren't listening.

Where are you getting this information from? The Tribunal never had replay functionality available, and neither does the Instant Feedback System. As for the system today, while it's certainly not perfect, the reason that it only shows your chat logs is because only your behavior matters in the grand scheme of things. Yes someone else may have started it but at the end of the day it is what you did and your actions alone that got you punished. Because of this it makes sense to encourage people to focus on what they did and not what other people did.

Considering the vast majority of people complaining about their punishments often lie about what they did (their Reform Cards and/or Riot responses very often reveal the truth), I'd beg to differ. The people being permabanned have often had multiple warnings and chances to change their behavior for the better and just chose not to do so. The punishment system as it is now is meant to encourage people to reform faster than the Tribunal did while also removing the problem players faster than the Tribunal did as well.

This sounds like you may have been punished for poor behavior and are trying to weasel your way out of it. If this is the case then please post your entire unedited Reform Card here in this thread.
