Ok, so I have been playing all day and everyone that has been on my team has either afk or just trolled the whole game. Can we please fix this shit. Its ruining the fun for some people. I hate when it's a close game but someone just leaves because they think the game is over. Riot please fucking do something about this fucking shit.

Salyer29001 votesNo one gets banned, and it does not change a thing. I say harsher punishments for constant afk. It's so frequent and the worst i've ever seen someone get is a 20 minutes wait. They need something like huge rank penalty, or month bans from consistent afks. Those players have no place in this game.

I have had an unusually high amount of afk players on my team this last week (I'd say about 4/6 of my games have either been 4v5 or 3v5) and it just feels terrible. I understand there is the fear that lessening LP loss when you have an afk could be abused, but I think this change would bring more good than bad. Maybe a better, more secure way to implement a feature to fight afks would be to lessen LP loss if you get several afks in a short period of time. I must've reported over 40 players this last week for afk and it doesn't make me feel any better that they get might get punished when I am sitting here demoted because I was unable to win a 4v5. Heck, some of them especially didn't feel good to report because they were nice people to chat with in the early game who just happen to dc around the 20 minute mark and never come back. It's really frustrating and I hope Riot will look into making afks have less of an impact, as they already cause the most demoralizing game loses and when you lose 20ish LP or so on top of that it just feels like the system is telling you to have a terrible day.

One thing they could do is like Dota2 or Overwatch and if someone is gone for a certain amount of time end the game/ let the team that has an afk leave.
