Permanently Banned??

The other day i was perm banned whilst the person who reported me was cursing me out and thing like that, and the worst i called her in the conversation was a ''salty ass'' Like really? Perm banned for calling someone a salty ass?? This is my chat log from the game, it would be much appreciated if riot would show the WHOLE chat log and allow you to maybe report it to a rioter so they could see if their system is flawed in certain situations. I honestly don't think i should have banned for this maybe suspended yea sure, but u guys let me know what you think because i have seen people who spam the n word and tell me to kms and yet i never get a message saying they have been banned or even suspended which is really dumb. You called them "salty ass". And then continued to harass and flame them throughout the game.

There's a fair amount of arguing between those two snippets, but I'm half-inclined to disregard it because it's mild arguing over tactical shit, but it's still not helping your case.

You spent a fair majority of the game harassing and insulting Irelia, rank-shaming, mocking them for having demoted, and overall just prodding and agitating them for no good reason. Even after you "muted" them, you still put forth the effort to harass them. The quote-unquote worst you may have called them was "salty ass", but that's one part of a game's worth of offenses.

Showing the "whole" chat log (or, more truthfully, the other player's chat logs) would not change whether or not your chat is punishable. You got punished for your misbehavior, because you decided that rather than muting the player who was flaming and cussing at you, that you would be better off joining in on the flamewar. Counter-flaming is still flaming.

If you think a punishment was issued in error, you can file a Support Ticket, but this case wasn't a punishment issued in error. Your behavior was well-below acceptable standards, and if it came after a 14-day suspension, then of course, the next step is gonna be a permanent ban. They warned you of that with the 14-day ban.

So if someone ruins your game,you need to shut up,waste 20 - 30 minutes on a game that it hardly can be won just because someone decided to troll and to make fun of you ( and he won't be banned either,as he only had a " bad game " ).He wasn't toxic here,just talked shit,and I don't think it should be a punishable offend,especially if you are provoked by some troll.

Well, first of all, the OP didn't say anything about the Irelia trolling. They said the Irelia swore at them and flamed, so you're just bringing your own issues onto someone else's table here.

Second, if someone decides to troll, then what you have to do is try to play the game out as best you can, and, I cannot stress this enough:

#DO NOT FEED THE TROLL.

Saying anything to or about the troll is just going to give them more incentive to troll harder. They want a reaction. DO NOT. GIVE THEM. IT.

Pardon the emphatic use of caps, but this is Internet 101 and I hate seeing people narrow-mindedly ignore the very concept of trolls and try to say "why are we not allowed to flame them? why do we have to say nothing" - here's why:

Flaming is against the rules, and it doesn't matter if YOU think you're justified in flaming someone, you'll get punished regardless. You're not the judge, you're not the jury, and you're not the executioner. You are a player in the same game, and are held to the rules.

And saying anything to or about the troll, again, is only going to give them more reason to troll. They want you to react. They want you to flame. Do not. Give them. What they want.

You can use the Surrender Vote to get out of the game at 20~ minutes, since 15~ needs to be unanimous. It's only a waste if you make it a waste. If you decide to throw up your hands and quit, then of course it's gonna be a waste. You're not doing or learning anything.

You could use the time between the start of the trolling to the Surrender Vote to try and improve. Set small goals for yourself; learn to manage waves, get a certain amount of CS, get towers, etc. - but like it or not, you signed up to play a full game, so if you decide that you no longer like the terms and break the rules, you're gonna get punished.

And, lastly, if you report the troll and give honest, detailed information about how they trolled, they will get caught. You have no evidence that trolls don't get caught, meanwhile it doesn't take too much effort to find examples of trolls getting caught here on these boards.

Again; The OP made no mention of a troll.

Beyond that, yes, the OP was toxic here, because they spent the majority of the game harassing Irelia when they could have simply muted.

And lastly; if we were to start making exceptions to the rules on account of this or that, or whatever else, then guess what? The whole point of the rules would be gone, and there would wind up being no rules at all. D'you want trolls and feeders running rampant because they get to misbehave on account of "exceptions"?

Did you have a 14 day ban prior to this? About the message, they heavily reduced those since they dont really achieve anything but open up the possibilty for reverse engineering or to hunt down people you reported and belittle them for getting punished.

Otherwise, i dont like to see that Players get banned permanently and hope you get your acc back - even when you wrote things i hate to read. Only Cheaters should be banned permanently, in my opinion.
