I'm sure that there have been many times where you have seen instances of toxicity that have gone unpunished, but one of the main reasons why it goes unpunished is that people don't report it. If you saw it, but didn't report it, the system doesn't review the chat logs. In this instance, someone did choose to report you. And unfortunately, because your logs do contain hate speech, a punishment was issued.
