Do i deserve a 14-day Suspension for this what are your thoughts?

I have been playing non-stop for around 1-2months and just hit level 30, I was ready to play ranked for the first time on the weekend when this happened.

I personally don't think i deserve a 14 day suspension first offence for this, But I would like to hear others opinions.

this is normal's, but our Zed was first mid and then fizz locked in and his pre-made flamed our Zed. Zed was forced to play top with me. In lobby chat they spammed enjoy support enjoy support after insta locking.

My repercussions for trying to gatekeep lead to my own demise. Why couldn't i have received a chat restriction? Seems harsh tbh.

I think I see you continually retaliating against people who are flaming you. But regardless of the reason, its your chat that got you punished.

You claim that you "dont allow toxicity to spread", yet you let it be spread onto you like butter on bread.

Your communication is almost all negative, and you type more than I've seen some people type in 10+ games. Very little of your chat is actually helpful to winning the game. That's your problem, most of your chat is spent flaming others instead of strategizing to win the game.

You call for reports frequently which is harassment. It's unnecessary. If someone does something reportable, the game will get reviewed even if only you report them. 1 report = 9 reports. Thus, telling people to report someone over and over (or even once) is unnecessary.

Within your toxic communication, there's a lot of vulgarity, and a lot of seemingly admitting that you're trolling them because you think they stole your lane. While the occasional vulgar comment won't get you banned, continually being vulgar will. Further, your admission that you're trolling (even if it was untrue/a joke) could have escalated your ban.

While I would not normally see this as an escalated ban to a 14 day on the first offense, Riot may have done so because of the extreme vulgarity, the admission of trolling/not helping, or the sheer amount of negativity you continued to perpetuate throughout this entire game. This assumes you did not edit the chat logs and this was the only game presented to you.

That's dumb. If you haven't been chat restricted before why would it go straight to a suspension? Only cases for that to happen is hate speech. You were just a prick. Should have got a 25 game restrict imo

You took it into your own hands to enact justice upon the person who took mid-lane. If you had simply told them they were wrong to do so and should respect their teammates, that would be one thing.... but you crossed the line into harassment. You harassed them all game long, repeatedly telling them they are bad, making insults about their family, and cussing at them.

You increased the toxicity in your environment, rather than decrease it.

This definitely deserved a 14-Day ban. Next time don't engage a toxic player in chat arguments, just mute them and report after the game.

Not entirely sure what you mean by "gatekeeping" here. As I understand it, gatekeeping is when you discover someone is in their promos to another ranked tier and you deliberately throw the game to prevent them from advancing. So i hope that's not what you were doing, because if it is then that's definitely ban worthy.

The rest of your chat is fairly toxic and I'd definitely hand you a 14-day suspension for it.
