Every game I go through, there are so many toxic people calling people %%%gots and telling them to kill themselves, and just go on and on and on saying some pretty brutal shit at times.

So I was killing a game, talking shit throughout because my entire team was just feeding, but I never said anything over the wall. Afterwards, everyone on the other team reported me because "if you're gonna carry, at least do it with class".

So now i'm chat restricted for a whopping 24 games, and it's a real bitch to communicate with the team. Kind of excessive if you ask me.

Pretty broken feedback system.

That wouldn't have resulted in you being punished. I think the most common negative behavior players exhibit and don't realize is punishable is asking others to mass report a player, or simply threatening a player with reports; I can only make guesses until you post your reform card. If you want to discuss the validity of the punishment you should post that. One game alone wouldn't have resulted in a 25 game chat restriction either, so this would've been the result of a history of negative behavior and probably a prior 10 game chat restriction.

As for it being a real bitch to communicate with your team under a chat restriction, it shouldn't be. If it is, you talk too much and that may very well be a part of the problem. Use this restriction to get used to talking a bit less and focusing on the game more.

What's a reform card and where do i view it? o.o

If you are punished by the Instant Feedback System, you'll get a reform card in-client at that time. For chat offenses it will include 1-3 games of your chat logs that contributed to the punishment. This will also be sent to your email, but may only have 1 game due to size limitations.

If the punishment was not for chat offenses it may have some details about the punishment, but for more information you'll need to submit a Support Ticket.

i honestly feel like " please stop typing or i'l report you. final warning." shouldn't be considered toxic. because it takes away a tool at peoples disposal to de escalate a situation. and it also encourages people to flamebait trying to get people to use the word report.

It is pointless and toxic. Have you never heard of that antique Internet rule "do not feed the troll"? What do you think is gonna happen if you fuel the fire? Just more sterile blablabla during the game, instead of playing. Post all your chatlogs as soon as you have them.

if someone is trolling that's true. but if they are just raging out of frustration. the idea of a report may be the deciding factor in them "taking the hint"
