Misconception on Toxicity

People have a massive misconception on what is Toxic. Criticizing people, talking shit to people, that isn't Toxic. I literally don't care what you white knight keyboard warriors say about "Dughgh Uh sir calling your allies and enemys bad/shit/trash. Isn't sportsmanlike and that falls under Toxic.". No. No it doesn't, Toxic is when you make it personal, when you tell someone to hang themselves, when you tell someone to kill themselves, telling someone to drink bleach, hoping they get cancer/aids, their family dies a horrible death, that shit is Toxic. That is offensive, but being criticized, or being called bad isn't toxic. If you fuck up, make a mistake, or doing something wrong people shouldn't just hold their tongue and sit on their hands and be quite, cause guess what, they are just gonna keep making mistakes, why do you think NA SoloQ is the worst of all the Major regions, because we can't criticize anymore, we can't tell people what we did wrong, why do you think there are so many toxic people? Because they all got banned for just Criticizing and saying people are bad. Then they get pissed off and ruin every game there is. I don't care if you want to say "Dughhghg but-but calling people bad shit or garbage isn't productive, and doesn't get anything solved." Okay then, if you don't want to hear it OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS NEW FEATURE CALLED MUTING?! No. Way. Did Riot just add this or something? It's like people forget about it, oh man. Hot stuff. So it doesn't get thing productive, but taking someone's account away cause you want to be a sensitive child?

TL/DR; Stop being little bitches and reporting people for calling you bad/shit/trash/garbage, use the mute feature, it's there for a reason. It is toxic grow up, and grow a pair.

(Side note) Bring Tribunal back, I had no bans when it was hear, the new system is banned me for having fun with the enemy Nocturne. GJ Riot.

It's Riots game, if you don't play by Riots rules you get punished. Easy as that. No need to define what's toxic in your opinion or not.

If you absolutely have to criticize someone, don't tell them they're bad but rather tell them what they could have done better. And if that costs too much energy to do simply don't say anything at all. Simply As That.

if people are bad they are bad you dont know they could have done better just that playing better is a general possiblity. its possible for a person to play bad and if they do they need to be told they played bad that isnt an insult no matter how you took it. telling people they could have dont better when you have nothing to suggest that is a straight out lie.

Actually it does, other wise there is noreason for the mute button to exist, if you don't like what someone is saying, mute it and get over it.

Uh, no. The mute button is an emergency bandaid so you can not get tilted and retaliate back if it's really getting to you. Then you report after the game and let the system handle the rest. I or anyone else shouldn't have to mute someone. That someone else shouldn't have been rude enough in the first place to need a mute. Nice failure at logic there kiddo.

I understand what you're trying to say, but calling someone trash won't make them a better player. People call me trash all the time. Like, thanks for pointing out the obvious. I already know that I'm not ranked #1 in Challenger tier. How about constructive criticism instead of just a blatant insult? Critique my positioning; tell me why going to dragon instead of grabbing one more tower was wrong; tell me what item is more cost efficient and effective in this one particular match than the one I bought and for what reason. That will make me a better player. Don't just say I'm trash and leave it that.

I never said Retard. That is Toxic. I said garbage. No other game in the world, has such a bitch made player base with a report and ban system like this, I bet you money, a lot of money, is this system was removed, and people were just left alone, for a while it would be really bad, but after a while it would calm down. Look at every game out there, I've only seen, unpunished trolls, afk's and actually toxic players other then league. I have seen so many unjustified bans in League. It's stupid. I want to sit here and enjoy my games, but I get banned for calling an intentional feeder shit.

actually every online game has a system with rules where insulting players will end in you getting banned there was a time where we had no real ban system. then riot addet chatbans because we need rules. boards were filled with tons of "im chatbanned gg" complaints.

i saw 8 unjustified bans since season 2 hm.
