Wouldnt it be possible and beneficial for a loss prevention system to be put in place to prevent loss of LP when AFK players are in team, there could be a severe punishment for afkers and that would prevent people ragequitting also, just an idea but maybe drop AFKers to 0LP or even move them down a division or tier each time, NO EXCUSES even if they have connection issues they should not be ruining other peoples games by joining without a constant and reliable connection. tired of having 3+ 4vs5 games every day sometimes 3 vs 5 and once 2 vs 5 :P it is just annoying and avoidable by simple rules

no that is a bad idea a really bad idea what happens if there is a big storm that happens in the middle and knocks out that afks power and its not his fault so he gets knocked down a division for something out of his control and whats to stop me from just playing on two accounts one goes afk and the other plays so if i lose its a loss prevented but if i win then good for me a way to cheat the system so your main account will never lose lp again.

Maybe after the 2nd or 3rd time in x period of time. Im sure most of us have been unfortunate enough to have our connection running just fine when all of a sudden the power goes out or the internet drops for some reason.

knowing this community this is what will happen; once a team starts losing they are going to harrass whoever has the lowest score and blame everything on him and pretty much bully him into going afk so everyone else don't lose lp. If anything it will increase the toxicity in the community

Nobody can predict when their internet is going to go out for whatever reason. Power outages can happen. So can bugsplat errors. It may be bad on your end but you don't know what happened on their end either. Knocking someone out from gold 3 to gold 2 is also unnecessarily harsh.

here in the uk my internet connection hasnt gone down in over 2 years :P but even with power cuts or whatever problems people may have, it is still causing severe problems for others that are having a 0% dc rate
