Hi i read a post on reddit and even Riot said that editing the PersistedSettings.json file is allowed. I went ahead and changed the mastery emote to r so when i use the ulti the emote also shows. well the next day i got an email that my account is permabanned because i modified the game or used 3rd party software. any help with this? i write to support but i just get automated responses that i violated the terms. i feel as a paying customer that this is ridiculous.

If you think that is what got you banned then submit a Support Ticket and tell them that's what you did. It's not guaranteed that's what you were banned for, though. I've changed mine many times.

It's ridiculous. I edit persisted settings file all day becuase they are just game settings which can be changed either in game or by editing that file. I haven't got banned...yet..

This is due to the recent banwave regarding this particular offense. Guilty and Innocent alike are being banned and Riot is not going to reverse those bans.
