Permanently banned

I just got a permanent ban because I didn't want to play in a game where my Shaco said he was going to intentionally feed and not let us win. After he did just that I stopped farming and waited for the game to end. At the end I was reported by several of my teammates, including the trolling shaco, as well as the enemy team who was unaware of our chat logs. I'm not asking to be unbanned I just think its funny that all of the time I spent in this game has just been locked due to an automated system. What's more is the Shaco who admitted to intentionally feeding and throwing, has had it reinforced that this is something acceptable to do. He messaged me after the game saying he couldn't believe the team blamed me, and that I was right he would never have let us win, and just mocking me in general. 30 seconds later my account is permanently banned. So gg Riot ill take my business elsewhere and will encourage my friends to do the same.

Yes, because you surley got banned because of one game.

Stop fucking lying, there was a two week ban prior, or you're just extremley toxic anyways and skipped the two weeks and went straight to perma.

I will admit in the past I would get frustrated and type in a manner similar to the way you just responded to my post with. However, I reformed and I was permanently banned solely for the reason listed above due to a flawed automated system. Have a nice day.

Then that means all the past problems accumulated till what is now a perma ban.

You have to understand that it's an automated security system. The system isn't gonna know who was technically right and who was wrong, you left the game, which the system interpreted that as being intentionally afk which lead to your ban. Also, you don't get perma banned for leaving 1 game. You must have already had a 14 day suspension on your account and you violated the code again right after.

I understand completely its an automated system. My frustration is that an automated system permanently banned an account that I spent money and a lot of time on. Yes I had a 14 day ban before for typing inappropriately, but I made it a goal not to repeat that mistake and I was permanently banned solely for the reason listed above. While I am no saint, I can say with certainty that under any human moderation my account would not have been banned.

How recently was your 14-day ban? It takes a rather long time for your punishment to deescalate.

As a human myself (last I checked) I understand WHY you might have taken that action but, if you had a history of toxic behavior, I can't say I'd necessarily excuse this behavior. If the rest of your team is ready to play the game you've just given them TWO dead weight players to deal with instead of just one, which is doubly unfair to them.

You make a point about leaving my team with two dead weight players, and it is a good point, but having dealt with players like the Shaco before, I know the game was a lost cause. I did not want to give him the satisfaction by farming up and extending the game just for him to crush all hope. He made it quite clear that he was trolling and even said he didn't say anything in champ select to make sure we'd be stuck with him and no one would dodge. Its all in the chat logs, him saying that he will intentionally feed and throw, that he likes ruining people's promos (our Xerath was in his), and I just didn't have the heart to see it through.

It takes about three months to drop one ban tier from the 14-day ban, and an escalated punishment such as that earned by intentionally feeding could have still pushed you over even after a couple months.

Again, I understand your prespective. Your decision to weigh not giving one troll satisfaction over the experience of three other innocent players, however, is the reason you also received a punishment. He has the satisfaction of ruining a game either way, but only one way makes you also culpable.

Thanks for taking the time to write back. I don't think that me playing or not playing had any bearing on the experience of my team, because no matter what I did, the shaco made it very clear he would not let us win. In any case, I sent a ticket to riot in the hopes that they will look at the chat logs. I don't know if that is something they will do, and im not going to get my hopes up, but I'm certain that if they take the time they will see the punishment is unwarranted. If not, I'll go find something else to play. Good luck with your future games!

Are you ever going to post your chatlog? See, its simple. If you dont post your chatlog it means that you were flaming. We can't judge your ban unless we see your chatlogs, and your refusal to post them after being asked multiple times to do so, is the same as admitting that you were flaming.

Hello,

If you are looking at the game you will see that Shaco started feeding a minute in by flashing into their jungle at the beginning of the game, and it was only after he also came to my lane to feed that I decided there was no point in trying. As far as the other games go, I'm man enough to admit I got crushed pretty hard in those games but I certainly was not intentional feeding.

Without context they don't make much sense, and while I certainly could have handled it better I do not believe they are so "extremely inflammatory and offensive" so as to warrant a permanent ban. This is just sort of constantly passive aggressive, and in game two you just straight up flame your team.

Not enough to warrant a permeant ban, but if there were prior punishments, I could see it happening.

In the first log I was provoked relentlessly by a trolling shaco, and I didn't say anything after he fed minute one by flashing into their jungle, but only after he came to my lane to feed as well. In retrospect I should have just muted him, but I don't believe that responding to him warrants a permanent ban. If someone with access to the game's full chat logs would post them, I know that you and anyone else who cared to look would sympathize with me.

Yes, you should have just muted, reported, and moved on. There are so many things to get mad about in life, a thirty to forty minute game is not one of them.

You didn't get banned for these two games, you did get banned because you have a long history of bad behavior and demonstrated, then you are either unwilling or unable to stop flaming. That's why you are "extremly inflammatory", because of the huge amount of games you flame in, and your refusal to simply stop flaming.

If someone with access to the game's full chat logs would post them, I know that you and anyone else who cared to look would sympathize with me.

Nothing your team can do is an excuse for flaming, thhat's why you dont get them. It is completly irrelevant.

Go ahead - that is the purpose of a permanent ban. People using temrs such as "cancer team" aren't exactly the type of players anyone wants to play with.

While my chat logs are not perfect by any means, I do not think they are grounds for a permanent account ban. From your post history it seems you enjoy commenting on threads like these telling people how they deserve it, without really knowing the full story. I would encourage you to try and empathize with your fellow players rather than try and rub salt into the wounds. In any case take care my friend, and keep setting an example that we can all look up to.

Im definitly not, the system has made mistakes in the past and will do again. They are, however, very, very rare, and your case is not a mistake

This isn't about rubbing salt into wounds. People liek you need to realise that their behavior is, quite frankly shit, and you dont do that by just telling them that they are nice persons when they are not.

You also admit that an automated system can make mistakes yet are certain that my ban was brought on by continually being toxic. My main argument here is that the punishment does not match the crime and after posting the logs as requested you respond that it is warranted because of past transgressions. While I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post, you are speaking with an authority that you do not possess, as you have no idea what led up to this ban besides the chat logs I provided.
