If a player is banned in season 4 for two weeks with no prior warnings and a first time offense, and the player commits another offense now in season 5/6 does the player get a permanent ban for toxic behavior? Or does the warning get reset each season?
Punishment levels don't get effectively reset each season, but they do decay. Last August/September, they standardized both the tiering and the decay timing. While I don't know the exact timing of how it decays the earlier punishment system, I do know the current system decays 1 tier after ~3 months without getting punished. So if you had a 2-week during S4 and no punishments since, I believe it would decay down to a 10-game chat restriction as the next one.
But why risk it? Just don't be a jerk.
Warnings do not reset as far as i know. Could be wrong though iv never gotten it to much trouble to find out.
