Can i be reported for playing it safe in game?

i played an aram match today, and i got paired up with all level 30’s. while i’m only level 28 ( i’ve been playing for 2 months now. ) I was given nautilus as my random champion. though from the beginning of the match it was clear to me that we needed to hang back from the enemy. i stayed under the turret, i only left a few times and when i did. i Died horribly just like the rest of my team.

so i stayed under the turrets the rest of the match as we were pushed back into base, i started getting hatful comments about how i was playing. that i wasn’t being the Tank like i was supposed to. That i was required to go take all of the damage while my team attacks.

yes normally i would do this, but it was clear from the beginning that i wasn’t skilled enough to pull that off. so i “played it safe” by staying under my turret. my end game result was 4/6/3, i had the most kills, and the least deaths. but i was still threatened by my team. for not being a “pro”

after the match several of my teammates threatened to report me. i don’t think this is a valid reason. But i wanted to ask for my own comfort, my anxiety spikes really badly when i get threatened like this for something i don’t feel was wrong.

It's aram. Reporting someone in aram is really low, especially since the selection is random. It's also a fun mode. Don't take those reports seriously, if anything the people reporting you will get punished for being jerks. Just remember not to react to them, or you may be punished for retaliation.

Most people report for silly things nowadays. As long as you're playing by the summoners code, not feeding INTENTIONALLY (If you feed unintentionally, reporting you will do nothing.) and aren't being a complete ass to your team, you can't really get reported. if you do it will achieve nothing. Riot can see the game and if you did nothing wrong dw.
