I started scrolling through the boards in the first time since beta after receiving my first chat restriction ever wondering why i'm such a jerk.
Then i asked myself, is there a better system?
If the community is so toxic, why is the system put in place so easily abused by toxic people? Isn't the system reliant on having players care enough to actually report someone, and people who hold grudges or care enough would usually be "toxic" people themselves, no? some exceptions, anomalies?
FOR JUSTICE2 votesSee the problem stems from people getting agitated at you (like if you feed) and they flame you, but you flame back thinking you just "defended yourself" despite being toxic with them.
Then when they get chat restricted they call the system broken because theyre biased against it.
SlipLeBatch2 votesYou're probably right on me being biased against the system due to my recent restriction, (and i know this is childish) but it feels unfair to have one game as evidence for it.
Looking back at the log, while the stuff i said wasn't exactly courteous, i haven't said anything derogatory towards anything but the gameplay.
I was going to submit a ticket to see what Riot thought, but the support page login isn't even working for me.
At this point I'm probably just trying to justify myself and defend my pride
