Hey there, as the boards prohibit naming and shaming other players I've removed the video from your post. Feel free to readd screenshots or video once you remove other players names from them.

Funkin Dunkin3 votes

I agree with the ban. You kept instigating. Your lane won but you kept going off.

StefanDoktor1 votes

he was stealing my farm? 20 adc and 40 farm support, how is that a won lane?

Chermorg7 votes

Nobody owns the minions. He has every right to them as you do, so long as he is trying to win the game.

StefanDoktor1 votes

why do roles even exist then? lmao

Chermorg5 votes

To signify what lane a player should go to? And the "meta" does exist - normally ADC has more farm, normally top goes someone tankyish, normally either mid or jungle is AP... But nobody is required to follow the meta. They are only required to play their lane assigned.

Darkg0d1 votes

So if a player decides to go against his entire team by autolocking an otherwise non-meta champion, regardless of what the team might think, or how it affects the rest of the teams play, so long as this troll tries to win its the other guys fault lmao what an absolute joke

Chermorg6 votes

If they are playing the game to win, they are not required to one anyone's personal opinion on what champion, item, or strategy is good.

Darkg0d1 votes

Even with a negative impact on the rest of their team? sounds pretty selfish rito

Chermorg3 votes

Others having wrong opinions about the rules of the game does not make it against the rules for someone to play.

Let's say this: You're playing intramural football. You constantly run downfield to try and catch the ball, but the quarterback never throws it at you. Sometimes you're defended, sometimes you're wide open, but he just doesn't throw it to you. You should not get mad at him for making his own decisions about the game. It's his job as a team player - just as you made the decision to run down field.

The only thing you have a right to control in League is your decisions. If others make decisions you don't like or that you would not personally have made, that is not only acceptable but it is perfectly okay. If you get worked up or angry about their ability to make decisions, that is not Riot's problem - it's a team game and there's no team captain.

{quoted} You're playing intramural football.

Actually, I'm playing League of Legends, but sure. Dude runs down the field. That's his job.

It's literally the supports job to grab a support item for gold income and let the ADC farm the minions.

I really don't understand this kid.

Chermorg3 votes

No, as was said before, it is the support's job to support. They need gold and items too, and taking CS is a way to get gold. Nobody in League owns any CS/monster/minion/etc. Nobody's "job" involves a specific minion/monster/camp/etc aside from the jungler whose job it is to maintain control over vision in their jungle and attempt to maintain control over the two jungle objectives.

Just don't, guy. Seriously, you're making a fool. If bot lane (or any duo lane, I don't care if it's in top or where it is) were meant to share minions, wouldn't you think the ADC would also buy a support item for the extra gold income? You know, since he needs the gold even more-so than his supporting ally? But wait, the ADC doesn't build support items. Because he's the ADC and support items have exactly ZERO Attack Damage.

"Support Item" isn't listed as an Essential item for a supporting ally nor do they all have the "gold income" modifier by accident.

I gotta pee, he's too much.

Did you miss the part in the recent season when adcs were actually buying relic shield? It worked quite well. Slight damage lost, but health and gold gen. Plus a shield when you spent 500 to upgrade it for a shield mid game before maybe selling it for a late game item.

Imperial Pandaa2 votes

When exactly was it nerfed? And how? They started doing it after 7.9 when they added the "Quests" to the gold gen items. Following patches: Visual change, VFX change, bugfix to fix passive that wasn't working correctly, raising Quest end to 750 from 650 (which they did on all gold gen items). None of which shows a nerf aside from increasing the quest thing, which they did for all the items.

Are you perhaps mixing up the Relic Shield phase for the Doran Shield phase? Because I repeat, I'm not seeing a nerf.

Don't make claims unless you can back it up. Seems I brought intelligence compared to the ignorance you presented.

Thing I don't understand is that a smite support nunu got banned for going smite support nunu and was warned to communicate with his teammates. So if a Xin takes an adc cs and the adc tells him to stop, you still think it's justified that the support takes cs?

Imperial Pandaa2 votes

The Nunu and Singed cases are exceptions because of what happened. They left lane and basically played double jg and forced that decision on team mates. Leaving their adc alone who was not okay with it. Yes, it is different then when a support roams.

pizzapants2 votes

The thing is, smite nunu left bot lane to invade the enemy team's jungle and set the jungler behind. Chermorg even stated

{quoted}

If they are playing the game to win, they are not required to one anyone's personal opinion on what champion, item, or strategy is good.

So smite nunu shouldn't have been punished then according to Chermorg since he tried to win. Same with this Xin's case according to Chermorg as long as you try to win, you don't have to follow anyone's opinions or rules.

Imperial Pandaa2 votes

Which begs the question what happened in pre game? Did the entire team disagree and voice it then? If so, perhaps he should. If it was only the adc who disagreed, no. There will usually always be at least 1 person who won't agree with a pick, whether a legit pick or not.

So without information about the pregame, no he wouldn't be banned for playing off meta. He stayed in the lane he was assigned.

Although, that was going to be a tough game anyways. All AD team vs a Malphite and Rammus.

Oh, I'm not trying to insult the poor fella. I just don't understand why he's arguing with people who actually understand the game. I hate to say it, but in a battle of wits, this kid's defenseless.

Edit: I'm not referring to this alleged Xin support, if that's where you're confused.

Where does it say that?

Find me where, in the official rules, on the League website, it says that a support must do that and cannot deviate from it.

So you're one of those kids.

"Oh, I didn't get the role I wanted so I'm gonna troll".

SuperLuigiLXIV2 votes

Actually, no. Support is my second most played role. I mostly play Sion, Shen, and Gragas support, though I haven't really messed around with Gragas since preseason hit. You can check my match history if you like, I almost universally start with Targon's and rush Sightstone.

But please, continue to make stupid assumptions, it's entertaining.

SuperLuigiLXIV3 votes

Your entire point is predicated on a lie.

I never once said supports don't get support items.

I did say they don't have to. They are not required to buy support items. Just because I do, doesn't mean anyone else has to.

And I challenged you to prove they had to, to which you responded by trying to make me out to be a troll. To which I responded by proving I play the role.

I mean, it's cute you're trying to create a circle of discussion that makes you right, like watching my one-year-old nephew put the star block in the star hole, but it's simply not going to work.

Not surprised you think this is easy, since that's literally all you seem to be thinking.

EL HAMSTERO2 votes

exactly right. you pick/play your champion and I pick/play mine.

It baffles me that so many people have a problem with that

Taeseuk2 votes

Because your role is to do damage not take cs, the only reason supports let their adc take minions is so they can get their items quicker, there is no official rule stating they can't take minions.

StefanDoktor1 votes

so if i head over to a different account and start playing xin support and intentionally stealing my adc's farm i wont get any suspension?

StefanDoktor1 votes

whta is wrong with you all,if this happened to you i bet you wouldnt just type "Please dont take my farm, the weather is so beautiful my life is sunny and full of brightness haha :DD"

Taeseuk4 votes

You're talking to somebody that doesn't believe insults achieve anything so yes I would just ask them to stop, if they didn't I would play through the game and do what I could to contribute like using myself as bait because I have less items than I "should" have, making sure my positioning is good so that I can stay alive longer on a fight so that I can do small amounts of damage over time etc. I have never once felt the need to insult somebody no matter what they've done to me.

ß0l0gna1 votes

Well we aren't all mindless like you, some of us tend to fall back on emotions. especially in a meaningful game, such as a ranked one.

Taeseuk4 votes

I'm not mindless nor am I emotionless I just know there is absolutely no point in me bitching, fussing at, insulting or otherwise harassing anybody on my team as it achieves nothing in my case it wouldn't even make me feel better because then I feel like an asshole for attacking somebody for playing a game {other it may make them feel better but does nothing for the rest of the team}

If it does nothing for the game why would I decide to use it in game? The answer is I wouldn't, instead of focusing on harassing my team mate I would rather play the game because all harassing them does is tilt them to the point they have a bad game if they weren't already, possibly tilt and annoy the other 3 members of my team and results in a team that can't agree on anything.

Lyndris2 votes

I have had few Yasuo supports, generally sucks BUT, I have had a one or tow that worked with me, we shared farm and had ridiculous kill pressure. He usually comes out to the "real carry" and I am fine with that. And no, I would not type that, more likely a: "Try not to take all the farm I need it too"

Darkg0d1 votes

LMAO this alone tells me so much about riot now. i guess stay away from blind pick because no one is safe

StefanDoktor1 votes

this was ranked,i hope this goes viral

Darkg0d1 votes

I have some serious doubts that this admin has ever even touched the game lmao

StefanDoktor1 votes

yeah "the boards prohibit sharing other's names" lmao then why is this discussion even available if i cant complain on a certain player

Taeseuk3 votes

It's here for people to get help and advice, to figure out just why they got banned and hopefully learn from their mistakes so it doesn't happen again, it's not here to start a witch hunt which is exactly what happens when people are named on the boards.

You're funny.

Do you know what the "C" in "ADC" stands for? It's not "go ahead and take my money, I don't need it".

[slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

Chermorg4 votes

It stands for "carry"? It doesn't stand for "I own the minions".

okay then,im only gonna play a support taking farm from now on,if i get banned im going to come back on this board and your job is going to be to unban me,im not going to type 1 LETTER

That would justify the ban because your intent is to ruin games. And it's not the job of board moderators to unban your game account.

XD you really should quit while you're ahead. You're not making your case stronger.

So Xin destroying the entire chemistry of the team.... was without intent?

Please, you've shown your general ignorance throughout this thread. The matter here is op got burned for acting like a tool and refusing to let go and move on, up to and including a vid showing Xin kicking ass and taking names. Doesnt even matter what Xin did, it doesn't excuse OP' behavior in the slightest. In fact, I'm making an educated guess that the op starting flaming because Xin played off meta whereas i didn't see other members of their team berating Xin for his pick.

Chermorg5 votes

Considering you have made very clear your intent here that you are not going to do it for any strategic reason but just to piss off your teammates (hint: that's trolling) then I will not be surprised if you are banned for it.

As I said, it's permissible only if it's done in a bona-fide attempt to win the game. Not if it's done to piss off your teammates.

Darkg0d1 votes

You just gotta deal. Riot is run by a bunch of wound up pussies who probably got bullied in high school for being virgins.

StefanDoktor1 votes

i agree,if i went 0-30 in a game and typed fucng retrd once the reason for the ban would be that 1 curse word

Chermorg6 votes

Yes, verbal abuse and hate speech will get you banned. I am unsure why you think you have the right to flame and ruin someone's game experience?

StefanDoktor1 votes

so i can play support and take my adc's farm from minute 1? that would not be ruining someone else's experience? i called him a fucking retard and he called me a polish black %%%% and i get banned?
