This game is one of the most well made mobas out there(as a gameplay)

But the community is too toxic to the point it makes you wanna quit the game, happened to lot of my friends and im considering of doing so my self RIOT needs to do something to finally get rid of all those toxic players to make the gaming experience better for all the other who try to enjoy the game

my suggestion is to make a ban-wave to wake them up and a second one to clear the ones to continue to ruin our games

Thanks

Again, punishment is universally a bad idea which only promotes negativity inside any system. The only people who advocate for the punishment of others as a means of teaching them, are idiots. Punishment will never teach these people not to be angry, and take it out on each other.

Open any psychology book and it will tell you the same thing.

People learn through positive reinforcement.

So if you aren't trying to teach these people, ban them permanently. (Then watch the community shrink to about 1/100th of what it is, and watch Riot lose their funding).

Or you can use systems which actually teach people properly, through positive reinforcement of good behavior.

i agree with you up to a point

the reason i created this post today, a player of my team left the game because our top lane wasn't good enough (he was not even that bad btw)

anyway anytime someone is playing bad everyone flames while i try to say nice things such as everyone has a bad game now and then and that is ok witch is true but it doesn't seem to work because everyone else keeps flaming so i lose the game while i was playing good and being positive when that happens a lot it get you down mentally

so what do i do next besides rage my self (not in game)

There simply isn't anything to disagree about with my point really. Its just psychological fact. Even hamsters and rats exhibit this behavioral pattern. Punishment normalizes the mechanisms of punishment.

But yes, if there was a system in place that rewarded people ACTIVELY, for making games happy/fun, RATHER, than punishing them with negative repercussions, for having negative experiences, the community would be in much better shape.

It is like 14th century serfs and peasants cheering at the gallows as the poor are hung. For things like, stealing because they were starving to death. It could very well be them next on the gallows, but the system of punishment creates a thirst for it. Its normalized.

Likewise people gather here thirsting for more punishment blood, to quench their anger.

How amazing is it that humans do everything we can to not view ourselves as animals, except for understand our own psychology well enough to overcome the difficulties it presents us.

we already have a punishment system in place. its just not as visible as people want, so they think we don't have a system.

which makes the toxics think there is no system and they can get away with being toxic and the non-toxics think there is no system to punish the toxics.

what you need is something like this.
