Toxic players are destroying this game

There is so much to say here but i will get straight to the point.

I think toxic players should be severly banned. A simple 5min waiting time is not enough, in the last 100 ranked games i played i found more than half of these games are overwhelmed with toxic players. I lost more than half of my games due to one person refusing to listen to ithers fir advice, feeds and flames. I am at the point where i no longer want to play anymore.

This game is suppose to be fun and reasonably fair. But its always an unfair queing with feeders and flamers.

Ban these toxic players for the remainder of a season from the ranked games this will allow good player to truly improve their gameplay.

And the toxic players will realise the consiquenses of their actions.

A simple 20min ban is not enought to stop me from flaming or feeding intentionally just for the record.

Um, toxicity is not punished by 5 minute waiting time.

The first offense is a 10 game chat restriction, 2nd offense 25 game chat restriction 3rd offense 2 week suspension 4th offense permanent ban.

If you are meeting toxic players in 50% of your games (and for some reason, they are always on your team), they you need to look at the very real possibility that something in your behavior is causing them.

 A quick look at how you describe the situation leads me to believe the place you should look is :  "due to one person refusing to listen to ithers fir advice"

Unless you are a diamond smurf playing in bronze, you are matched with these people because you are roughly the same overall skill level as they are.
Unless you are the world's greatest diplomat, your "advice" is probably received as criticism.
Unless you are the world's fastest typer, your advice requires that you stop playing to type it.

Nobody likes to be bossed around, I'm sure you don't.

  So there is this one guy who makes plenty of mistakes himself, who stops playing all the time to bitch at me and tell me what to do. How would you react to that? I can tell you I would just dismiss that person as an annoying idiot on a power trip wasting my time and everyone else's. 

   Now I don't mean to call you an idiot, for all I know you're a super nice person. I'm saying that is how the kind of people who give unsolicited "advice" in game appear to me. I mute them and in the off chance they do make sense (it has happened once or twice), I will think about it post game when in a less stressful situation.

Trolls are destroying this game even more. Players who just sit in base after feeding and just pissing off you and your teammates. A Hecarim in my last ranked game got mad at the bot lane who just trolled for nearly the entirety of the game. He didn't say anything toxic or cancerous but did say he was pissed at the trolls in our game. Needless to say we lost. I feel most of these trolls are not getting banned for ruining another player's experience. In comparison to the amount of toxic people though the trolls are infrequent. But you can mute toxicity. You can't stop another player from trolling.

I cannot begin to count how many games I have lost to trolls, which then makes Pro's advice for climbing Elo irrelevant.

Yes you need to focus on yourself not "your team" But that does not apply when you have a ryze die to irelia 8 times toplane then AFK ragequit. Then it becomes a ranked 4v5 and our Sejuani decides, i'm going to give up because 4v5 is impossible, which I tried to politely explain to him/her that never give up, we had a decent 4 man team and good wombo, but he chose to get tilted by the ryze and in turn it ruined a potentially winnable game.

I explained to him yes its hard, but sitting in fountain is just as bad as our Ryze, it was 9 kills to 11 kills, we were very much in the game. I also explained to him, thinking like he was, he will be stuck in silver for the rest of his life.

I agree trolls/ragers/salty people and even boosters/smurfs are ruining the game for Silver-Plat players. I have gone up elo and down elo as well as rank, regardless of my playing because 1 or 2 people decide their going to go teemo jungle and feed 30 kills. It's a rat race and it sucks. I hope Rito has some plans for the future because Heroes of the storm is looking better and better.
